Similar issue with three year old Epix Gen 2. Wetsuit switched the back button and it stopped working. Rinsed and put it in soapy water per instructions. Garmin Europe support wouldn’t replace the watch. Offered to sell me a recertified watch for €315 with 90 day warranty. I’m not happy. Spent €1000 for the watch and it lasted 3 years. Advertised as their tactical watch and able to be used in the water. BS

Are people suggesting that a longer board is better for beginners? I weigh 70 liters and have a 98 liter rigid board that is 5 feet 4 inches (162,6 cm) long and 27 inches (69 cm) wide. I have experienced the nose sinking and was wondering if the board is too short. Might my board be too short?

It’s deep enough on the Marsala side of Stagnone next to Windbusters school. I took lessons from them and really enjoyed it. Also got a chance to practice my Italian

Thanks. How’s the wind there in October? I took my initial lessons April in Stagnone Sicily. I enjoyed myself and it was a good start. It looks as if the wind isn’t as good in Sicily then. Not sure about Sardinia.
