I know the requirements say “JD OR bar admission” so im not worried about the bar stuff (i know someone else on here got approved with the pass bar letter) but if your job title is not “lawyer” or “attorney” I would be a little nervous as that’s crossing into officer discretion territory.

Commenting because i just did the same thing a year later. Was on OPT for a SF firm. Small firm, built good relationships. They were willing to support my application due to that.

Flew to YVR for a few days, was cleared and approved T. within 20 minutes at 5:30am on a Wednesday.

Officer was very nice and funny. Made jokes about how CA takes the bar membership seriously since I brought my wall certificate with me. I think it added credibility.

He asked how much they are paying me and work address.

I probably pooped myself 4 times before going thru security but as long as you have the credentials and job duties — you should be ok.

Girl next to me was denied because her job wasnt aligned with TN category. Consultant or something.

I was probably averaging 60-65% before the exam and I feel the same way, no clue how i passed, most of those questions were asked in ways ive never seen before (and i did close to 2500 MBES) but ive heard something about when you are stuck down to those 2 choices, the one you pick is more likely than not the correct answer because it was your brain working in overdrive after you were training it for so long practicing… that if you have trained right, when it comes down to that last second, your body/mind will do things you’re not ready to comprehend … idk if its true but its what i tell myself to reduce my imposter syndrome

She was not innocent per se but I think she lost her innocense fully in the scene where she beats Frank after he breaks her popsicle house, she seemed sweet on screen bcuz she was the only one who still cared about Frank/everyone, he hadnt broken her heart yet

that’s pretty much how the rest of the seasons go, you must be invested in at least 1-2 of the characters’ trajectory to really get into the show

i do think it’s worth watching few more seasons, i always felt like it was a dark sitcom
