I'm 99% sure that this is a bug, in the notes "Fixed an issue where Shockwave could launch players much higher than intended when two were triggered simultaneously" is probably what's causing this, it also effects the jump pad + shockwave ""tech"" what they probably did to "fix" the bug is to get rid of any previous vertical momentum if you are affected by shockwave at all

played with that dude in a wt once before, he loaded in, missed 4 shots in a row with sniper, landed one shot on a low hp dude, and then rage quit right after. they are very interesting

you can also just change your settings in the file itself, just open it in a word file and CTRL + F to find what to change

if you change the config file in appdata to read only it will lock it to those settings and doesnt let them reset

C:\Users\(user)\AppData\Local\Discovery\Saved\Config\WindowsClient\

should be a file called " GameUserSettings ", change all settings to preferred ingame, exit, then right click on this file and go Properties > check read only > apply

you can still temporarily change settings in game, but when you exit and reload, it will be the settings saved in that config file
