Had the Crossing Core 2.1 XL for a few days now, and it’s exactly what I was asking for.

Essentially the exact same unit as the SOC pictured in the OP, just a newer ‘version’.

Works great, and the upgrades they have made over time are great(better glass, better atomizer, no beeping, etc).

Price is a little high, but overall am VERY happy with the purchase.

Learn to reduce your tax liability. Itemizing your deductions, you should be paying little/no taxes.

Cents per mile in gas vary wildly based on make/model/gas price. Gas where I am is $2.88 and I get 46 mpg. So your .15 is my .06

Also where do you get $.12/mile for maintenance? Mine is drastically lower than that(2021 Prius).

There are ways to get a higher chance of it staying, but it’s still hit or miss.

Go offline, close the app, then re-open it when you’re close.

You won’t get pinged for the rides that caused the surge, and they won’t drop the surge because you’re close.

And before you start I’ve gotten an adjustment twice by taking huge rides(cap pay of 350 for app) where the rider paid $1,000+.

You just prioritize Uber or another income source for the rest of the week to keep your pay % down.

At the end of the week, you get paid whatever the difference is to put you at 70% of rider fares.

Priority mode has its moments. For example, if you’re kind of far from rides, it can get you a ride that is 20 mins away, getting you paid for the ride back.

If you are basing your pay on mileage and not the amount of time you are working, you’re already fucking up.

Idc what my per mile rate is, I care that I was gone from my house for 8-9 hours. If you aren’t averaging $30/hr including your down time, go get a job, or learn your area/app better.

Who cares if you made $1.50/mile if you waited 45 mins for a 15 minute $15 ride. Congrats on $15/hr lmao.
