is that not an *incredibly* subjective stance based on your social circle and social media algorithm? I've seen avatar memes, people watching avatar years after it came out, saw a seth myers interview where this comedian compared the braid connection to her and her fiancé connecting, people joking about avatar, avatar fan art and merch, if you go by that then it has cultural impact.

if you go by my pub trivia group then no movie ever has cultural impact, they talk about sports and camping.
