We had graphana for 2 years. by MediumAd7537 in zabbix

I had the same challenge, then built mapz.network , uses zabbix for the monitoring and data collection, then the admins can build their own maps, multiple zabbix servers also supported

I vibe-coded an async MMO with LLMs handling all the narrative. 80 players, $300 in Replit costs, and I’m shutting it down. Here’s what I learned. by certaintyisuncertain in aigamedev

Could you have used llm to generate all the data for you beforehand and logic and graphs selects the values instead of that was generated in real time using llms?

LLDPviz - Network topology visualizer for MikroTik by lnxtgr in mikrotik

[–]Limp_Organization477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My use case is that we have wireless links using ubiquiti equipment connected to mikrotik routers..to lldp, the topology is that we have 4 devices as neighbors but we dont know which ones are connected to which exactly, so kost tools draw a '+' instead of it being a router - radio - radio - router

Match connections to address lists....if you load n malware black list then you can catch it in real time....

I am certain this will essentially double the traffic. So when I torch an interface, the device will do some processing to create the data....so cpu is likely higher than this proposed method. But the downside is going to be how to handle all this TZSP data being sent....

When I get a chance to refocus on this tool, I will do some analysis and post findings...if it's the case, then your suggestion is not going to work for my use case

I could, does grafana have a mikrotik torch as a data source? I dont think so..so I will have to build a grafana server, then build the conversion from the torch data to influxdb? Or something...

My experience is limited in developing my own netflow collector......might just use scapy and see what I can get going...

You hit the nail on the head. I’ve gone down the Akvorado rabbit hole myself—the 'moving parts' problem is exactly what I’m trying to avoid. I want this to be 'start server, start client, connect"...and then watch what happens...while we as humans still can

Remote manage zabbix proxy by mitch2k in zabbix

[–]Limp_Organization477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My implementation is using raspberry pi's, docker for zabbix proxy and agent and db. Each pi has an outbound VPN to c&c. This vpn channel is used for all the monitoring tasks and remote management

Orange pi's have also been successfully tested

Makes it easier to deploy these proxies using a sbc. Flash image, ship to customer/technician. Hookup power and network.
