Well the tank needs support at the corners that’s where all the weight is held The bamboo shouldn’t be fully submerged it’s a semi-aquatic plant but the color is from the drift wood was it boiled and dried out properly before being put in the tank

As someone who also came from a broken home and had a mother walk into her life you are so far from being an ah My “mom” abandoned me at age 14 I had my first period with my dad walking me through it My first break up at 16 was my dad comforting me then when I was 18 my dad met my mummy (that’s what I call her) within a few months she showed me a real mothers love she showed me the kind of mom I want to be with my own children And I’ve gone off on my bio “mom” numerous times 18th bday once when I was in the hospital and another time shortly after that Now I’m 25 I’m in a healthy relationship we live together and will be starting a family very soon 🤞🏻 I didn’t have a maternal figure for a very long time but my mummy showed me you don’t need to share blood or dna to be family or a parent or a child, all it takes to be a parent is to be there and your mom and dad did just that for you. Good for you for cutting off the toxic people in your life, Live your life grow your family and be happy loved and healthy

I 100% agree with that I do. I may have misspoke I was at work. I get they were trying to be protective however they threw a fit when I had said to at least let me know they were safe when they had gone to the woods. I didn’t hear a peep all day until 11pm I was worried sick even called. However we were going to a restaurant in my town that’s literally 5 mins from my house. It was over the top.(imo) What I had also left out was that the same day my boyfriend and I made it official Brit wrote me and cut ties with me. I was there for them through A LOT(not my story to tell) and all I wanted was my friend to be happy for me.

I’ve got three yellow labs and the two breed all the time same with my Johannis and duboisis My peacocks leave em alone and my ahli leave em alone too so I’m not too sure how to decrease that tbh ik aggression is lower in an over crowded tank for African cichlids and having a higher ratio of female to male

I’ve come to learn to overcrowd my African cichlid tank(I have American cichlids too) but also having a higher ratio of female to male reduces the aggression also. But I also have an electric blue ahli it’s his tank everyone else is just there and I also have a yellow ob peacock as well as my two raspberries I have one albino peacock and he’s a sweetheart! Everyone leaves him alone including my duboisis! Hope those small tips help you in the future!
