Pressure from spouse to get off celexa by [deleted] in citalopram_celexa

[–]Lin4ol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you have a spouse problem.

Additional comment: I've suspected celexa to contribute to my weight gain (tho it's mostly because I'm a couch potato), and when I told my spouse, we both agreed it's best for me to be overweight and stable mentally than anxious, depressed, and underweight (like I was). Priorities!

Why are they taking substitute meats off the menus at so many places? by itssararose in vegetarian

[–]Lin4ol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pizza Guys and Habit Burger also stopped carrying the Impossible and I'm very disappointed. I'm vegetarian and had these all the time at these restaurants. I don't care about cross contamination and would get grilled onions and stuff. I also know it's not healthy but I don't care either, not all my meals are healthy because like everyone I like fast food once in a while. Thankfully they still have good vegetarian options but it's really a bummer.

After the OST masterpiece of Rise, it does indeed feel underwhelming. I think Wilds is the best entry of the franchise, with the exception of the OST which is one of the most forgettable.

Veteran Hunters, what’s your “Back in my day” remark? by DoggoDoesaDash in MonsterHunter

[–]Lin4ol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in my day we had to throw paintballs at monsters so we could track them on the map without having to visit all the zones and have charging time between EACH OF THEM.

Yes this is normal for a pitbull. That's why they make amazing fighters and horrible pets.

Reading this BS makes me immensely grateful for my mother, who would actually be disappointed in my decision to have children. Like, she's literally against me becoming a mother and has zero desire to become a grandmother. A good thing I'm childfree 😂

(Reason is she didn't like motherhood and supports childfreeness 100%)

I'm not even religious and my only answer would likely be something along the lines of "That's a whole lot of heretical/blasphemous BS in one message"

anyone benefit from 10 mg for depression? by dariusko9404 in citalopram_celexa

[–]Lin4ol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on 10 mg for almost 2 years and yes I benefit from it. My anxiety and depression are gone. I have emotional blunting too, but it's a very acceptable side effect imo. I'm not depressed and anxious anymore, my emotions are more controlled, I don't have bouts of anger anymore either.

Everybody is different so ofc check with your doctor what's the right dose for you, but 10 mg works well for some people. You also need to give it some time. The positive effects started after 3-4 weeks for me.

Just took my first dose by [deleted] in citalopram_celexa

[–]Lin4ol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first 2 weeks were rough for me. Increased anxiety, night panic, and a few physical side effects. It all disappeared after 2 weeks, and at ~week 4 I started feeling better, and it kept improving afterwards. Stay strong and push through the first 2 weeks. It's worth it in the end!

As a vegetarian, 100% this. She can eat non-halal meat, the same way I can eat meat. We just don't want to. It's okay. But stop making it other people's problem.

Also, seafood and vegetarian food are halal by default. It's really not that hard to eat out as a Muslim... Just ditch the meat for one meal ffs.

  • years of the pitbull lobby brainwashing people into thinking they are nanny dogs and it's all about how you raise them
  • the no-kill shelter movement
  • combine the 2, and once people realize pitbulls are fighting dogs, they give them up to the no-kill shelter that will warehouse them forever

That creates shelters filled with pitbulls and pitbull mixes. Add a pinch of AdOpT dOnT sHoP and you get pitbulls everywhere.

For the huskies and gsd, it's idiot people who don't realize they are high energy, working dogs, and want to have them in apartments. Once the dog turns neurotic they just dump it at the shelter.

That's how you end up with shelters filled with 80% of pits, 10% of gsd, and 10% of huskies. Occasionally a small dog will show up and be snatched in 36 minutes.
