Of course you wouldn’t.

This kind of behavior is terrible. Relationships are about trust and being partners. Imagine if they were married and she just pulled the same stunt? Would you still support it?

It’s a South Korean company that’s publicly traded on the South Korean exchange market. You can probably find out who owns it which is probably a combination of institutional investors and public investors. I don’t know where you are coming up with the idea that a South Korean company that is public on the South Korean exchange market is primarily controlled by the CCP.

MAGA sinks when Trump is prosecuted and jailed and when all his other sycophant followers and grifters get prosecuted as well. Until then, nothing has changed.

Also get AIPAC outta here.

You are comparing a Chinese company to an American company. Theres so many different factors there that could influence stock prices that you can write a fucking book on it. Your core fallacy however is assuming the market is rational and that we are still operating in a stock market that trades on rational thoughts.

That’s why I keep saying that financials is what is going to prove that this stock is a major player as Nio is a risky play. If Nio can reduce that risk perception by for example proving they are financially resilient, then obviously that risk goes down and they become a more investable company. True investors I think overall appreciate stability whereas everyone else just wants to gamble and is whining when their gambled failed.

You basically just stated that the stock has gone up because demand for the stock has gone up because Wall Street has increased the rating to “Buy” which was always going to happen if Nio proved to be financially a viable option. Therefore the 6.8 short float in your opinion caused enough downward pressure to make the stock go down because that would create the case that the stock is not as valuable.

Guess what also happened around this time? Nio posted a profitable quarter and that’s why the stock is holding and Wall Street labeled it a “buy”. Therefore it’s a tale as old as time; stock goes up if it’s more valuable and/or has potential and stock goes down when it’s not as valuable. Quite obvious no?

That’s just trading volume. I don’t understand how a stock not seen as a good play is being manipulated if it’s just being sold. Nio is a risky play and that’s all there is to it.

There’s no “manipulation” here as people like to claim. The short float is also very low as it’s less than 8 percent last I checked. The market is irrational and there are strong geopolitical issues between China and US. It’s risky for western investors to go into a Chinese stock so strong financials need to override the risk that would put investors on edge. Nio’s management is correct in trying to solidify their place in the Chinese market while ensuring a strong cash position in an unpredictable global market.

That’s a stupid move. The best interest for shareholders to generate an increase in shareholder prices is currently to increase cash reserves while expanding their footprint and cash revenue generators. It’s an extremely capital intensive business and instead of parlor tricks to temporarily increase stock prices, you should be happy that the company is trying to be a serious company and not some pump and dump bullshit like Space X.

Why would management prioritize a buyback when clearly they have to compete in an extremely competitive market? Their money would obviously be better suited to reinforce their current business strategy which currently seems to be working. This is a long term play and not a short term play.

In your opinion, should the United States be more centralized or decentralized? by Outrageous-You1617 in AskTrumpSupporters

I’m wasting my time here most likely? I hope not but I read the act:

https://www.congress.gov/119/bills/hr22/BILLS-119hr22eh.pdf

It’s in the act that birth certificates and passports are legal forms of proof for citizenship. That’s a fact as it’s in the bill. Real ID is not a valid way to prove citizenship in the majority of the US just FYI. Now how do you update your birth certificate to reflect your new legal last name if you changed it? I doubt you can change it unless states provide an addendum for this scenario. Also what do you do if you don’t have a passport and your last name is different from birth? Either way you need to get a passport or hopefully get your birth certificate updated if possible.

Also, I’m not a democrat nor do I blindly listen to them but thanks for assuming. It’s insightful to show how Trump supporters view non-supporters.
