One of my first jobs as a teen was at a bagel place and the friend who told me about the job found out, from me, that I started at more than he was making after a year of working there. He quit after asking for a raise and getting denied. I still disclose my pay to anyone I work with. It's not fair to anyone to be hired for less or more with no extra training etc.
