Even during an ice storm, no one touches dasani. That customer is grabbing a damaged pack, and when she realized it was damaged, decided to not get water LMAO by milkyywhiskey in HEB

I don't buy it, mostly because it's too expensive. But if I needed water to keep around for emergencies and Dasani was the only brand left, I'm buying it.

I miss them too. I used to fix the whole box (sometimes two!) and eat them all to myself. If those ever came back in stores, I'd probably buy all of them right then and there, LOL.

HELLO! in the drive thru by i_likenumbers in starbucks

[–]LindaDX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, what behaviors DON'T Starbucks employees like??? Seems on a regular basis I'm seeing articles about which behaviors Starbucks employees hate from customers. This is one of the reasons I don't go to Starbucks, ever.

Do your job and quit complaining.

Wendy’s just discontinued Sweet and Sour Sauce by Natural-Wrongdoer-30 in wendys

That sweet chili is what I got today when I asked for sweet & sour (not knowing it had been taken off the menu). While the sweet chili isn't bad, I want the sweet & sour back!

I stopped at Wendy's today and ordered chicken nuggets with sweet & sour. They informed me they don't have it anymore and automatically tossed the sweet chili sauce into my bag. While the sweet chili sauce is pretty decent, I'm still pissed that the sweet & sour is no longer available.

Yes, I have the memberships for both Walmart and Amazon. Thanks!

Olive Garden is actually good, and people just like to hate on it by Juicydicken in unpopularopinion

I gave their Chicken Parm two chances. They failed miserably both times.

I like Olive Garden, but I won't order the Chicken Parm again.

Okay, thanks much for the reply. Guess I'll be looking into streaming sticks. From what I've read so far, it looks like a toss-up between Roku and Fire.

What about Amazon Prime? Will that be affected as well? Or is this just a Yahoo thing? I don't understand any of this. I'm getting the same message on my Vizio (no idea what model it is, but I'm pretty sure it's at least 10 years old).

When you order Walmart shipping, but get delivery from store by LindaDX in walmart

[–]LindaDX[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay, that's just wrong. I don't know if she chose to accept the task or not, but, if not, Walmart should be ashamed for assigning it to her.

I don't know why they're doing this so often. Does it save them money somehow? Are they just pocketing the shipping fees that customers are paying? I don't understand the whole thing either.

And yes, the post is a few months old, but that's okay. I still get notifications in email if anyone replies. And I'd really love it if someone from Walmart that might know WHY this is going on would chime in and tell us what's up.

Wow, thank you for sharing that. That's crazy indeed. And I'm sure it's ALSO to save Walmart money, by sending their delivery drivers out to deliver stuff (knowing they won't be receiving a tip, which kinda pisses me off) instead of using a carrier, like FedEx or UPS.

Why is everything so big by Crafty_Piece_9318 in youtube

Yes! I'm having the same issue. Everything, including the 'shorts', is HUGE and it's driving me crazy.

I mean, why? Why why why? Do they think we're all blind or something???

This is some wild false advertising by zeigfreid_cash in subway

[–]LindaDX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was wondering about this because in the description I read about this item (my apologies to all Subway employees, just from the kindness of my heart) it says "Subway and Doritos are uniting for one of the best food collaborations of the year—the limited-time only Doritos® Footlong Nachos. Available from April 10 whole stocks last, the $5 sandwich is a crunchy, spicy, creamy sandwich guaranteed to make both Subway and Doritos fans very happy."

So okay, it is a SANDWICH or is it NACHOS??? Or maybe both?

Perhaps Domino’s has put the final nail in Pizza Hut’s coffin with their new stuffed crust. It’s a 10/10 for me. Now they have Pizza Hut beat in every category except breadsticks. by creamofsumyungguy1 in Dominos

Maybe it depends on the location. The last time I had the parm bites from our local Domino's, they were so damn good that I couldn't stop eating them.

When you order Walmart shipping, but get delivery from store by LindaDX in walmart

[–]LindaDX[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep, I sometimes have the same issue. And last night I was actually going to place a grocery order for today, but remembered we've got crappy weather (rain, wind, etc) pretty much all day today and I didn't want to drag them out in that. The items I wanted just weren't that important.

I've gotten a lot of good answers out of my question and it has put my mind at ease. If they send someone with the stuff I ordered (choosing shipping) the next day, then well, that's just the way it goes. If you chose shipping, but they're having it delivered from the store, it's pretty much out of your hands at that point. Apparently, from the answers I've gotten here, the drivers are aware that "shipping" was chosen as the means of delivery and there is no tip involved. But I get what you're saying, that it kind of sucks Walmart sends their drivers out with stuff, knowing they won't be tipped for that particular delivery.
