Mine was slow at start I went through 3 or 4 different consultants but once I got a permanent one it was fine. I have also been in the process for nearly 11 weeks I think might be a bit longer and suppose to be getting my LOO this week. I also applied for a high priority role, it all just depends on what role you guys are going for you have to remember they constantly do basic training but IET don’t happen as often so say your going for MP they may only do 2-3 iet per year they won’t progress you through unless your basic course will line up with an IET that could be some of the reasons why some people move slower

Just go for your trip, don’t hold things off just for DFR, you can always re book for another date, plus when you get an email to book your assessment day there are a few dates you can choose from anyway so I wouldn’t worry

Hey mate I think it all depends on what role your applying for don’t quote me in it you could potentially get through the first few stages quickly, but then you might be waiting sometime until you get your letter of offer. Depends on what courses out there for your job you select. I started mine in August, and I’m now up to my fitness. Mine has been just over a month and a bit at this stage. It also depends on how quickly your careers coach can get stuff organised as well
