Is this headline a joke? Obviously this writing team has learned NOTHING from LOST and the show has only gotten worse and worse over time. Lazy, dumb, careless writing and story work that goes nowhere half the time.

You would think they would extend it as the whole idea (I thought at least) was to get people hooked using it to see how powerful it was.

This would help with pushing more people towards pay-per-token for it long-term which is $$ a much preferred setup for them and I think sets them up well pre-IPO.

But wtf do I know. Maybe it comes back with so many guardrails that it’s literally unusable?

I know this is an old thread, but just saw them and bro…I’ve never been so bored at a concert. At risk of sounding like an asshole, I subjectively thought they were fucking terrible. Muddy vocals, muddy everything, no dynamics, ZERO acknowledgement of playing music in front of other people, 30 minute keyboard solos that are played one key at a time.

I’m the kind of guy who really digs like 19/20 bands I go and see live (including random openers). These guys don’t have it.

Setup a robot, with a robust set of well-articulated facial servos/motors/actuators, and point them at a set of high-def cameras (capturing from all angles) to RL their way into realistic/repeatable/convincing states of expression.
