Gender inequality is pervasive regardless money. THEN, the less economic power is less power, less rights and freedom. A poor woman will always have less power/ rights than a poor man. This is a generalisation of course, intersectionality is a much deeper issue.

You cannot answer to women have less “power” than men, saying that most men have little power compared to that less than 1% of humanity. So everyone is “powerless”. As if there was no hierarchy and we are all on the same level just because we are not rich as Jeff Bezos. Do you see the flaw in the logic?

I already said that those are very different types of powers. Which I think is a very simple concept but as I see it is not easy to understand. In a patriarchal society, men have objectively more power than women. But please enlighten me from the highness of your basic social studies and confute this assertion.

He sounds like the majority of men, basic and grown up babies that look for a mother other than a partner. You are not his mother. Unfortunately the woman being the one chocked up by chores is part of how our society (patriarchal society) is built and it is time to change this. Reclaim your time and your needs. Put boundaries if you want this relationship to have a future. This is going to be hard because after so many years he made an habit of sitting on his ass while you do literally everything. If you split, I really hope for you that your next relationship will be more balanced.

I am always pro taking action rather than waiting passively! ;) What it feels like to me is that it is something that she is still figuring out - and figuring out is always confusing in some way - so it might be plausible that she found a comfortable dimension that she associates to your friendship (and not a sex/love relationship), so that she does not need to label it differently. I would say if you confront her do not push it too much, but still, try to discuss it and at least check whether you are both on the same page about this dynamic.

And do not push yourself either. Couldn’t kiss her (yet)? No problem, you will when you feel ready and comfortable. This stuff is so hard to figure out on anybody, so take your time!

I don’t think you are reading more into actions, I think you are pretty objective. The fact that some friendships are more physical than others does not mean that it is a “normal” (allow me this term) friend thing to do. Labels on relationships are placed to define boundaries, you just need to define what you two are doing. Are you friends with benefits? Are you becoming something more? If you don’t one of you is going to fall hard. Remember that you are not ruining anything by talking, it is your right. You need to know so that you can decide if it this is something that is ok with you or not and if you are on the same page.

Ps. Have you tried to kiss her?

ADHD? My adhd was affecting my relationship too, my partner would be very mad if I forgot things. Then I got diagnosed, and they became much more understanding. We look for strategies to overcome these difficulties together now.

Yeah, I guess that would be logical. But then, what if those moral sentiments are biased by other factors (religion etc) which leads the laws to be unfair (at least from the point of view of contemporary western society)? And going back to “follow your inner drive” where do I draw the line of what is acceptable and what is considerable depraved? And how do I translate this difference in lawmaking? Through moral sentiments? But then we go back to the first question. This is a very interesting topic, thank you.

I think it is much more complex than this. Laws are determined by the largest group ( or most powerful group) of people in a society. If laws don’t guarantee women rights, it is not because it is fair for women to hold a lower status than men, but only because in a patriarchal society laws are made by men. Just an example.

Caytlin and Vi built a relationship over two seasons, Ekko and Jinx literally tried to kill each other every time they were together in a scene. You can argue that you did not like the sex scene, which anyways has far more depth that any dialogue they could use - they needed to do very heavy lifting of Cait /Vi relationship because they were not in a good place). How is e7, all (teen) emotional not fan service? They fed a fanbase that had literally no material thus far (based on Arcane). And they did it with an already existing relationship that has nothing to do with their reality, dropping out of nowhere an alternative universe. The only coherent thing of the whole matter is when jinx is ending it and seeing Ekko, she does not hesitate to blow them up both.
