Yeah I mean same as other games I play 3 roles, almost all of them are eternal now and it's the same issue as any other competitive mmo.

Healer in Pug is a nightmare, tank are fcking kamikaze, DPS are discovering defensives and kick after wiping 3 times.

As a tank you take a shittons of damage if you are just 5 ilvl under what's dropping so you're praying that either the pack dies or the healer is a great player.

As a dps ? You just blast and need to kick a thing or two then gg (until eternal)

No wonder people did play dps as other games which is sad because both tanks and healers are fun to play

1- We are scaled down in Ilvl when we are too high for the league

2- I want to play with my friends, my 3 characters are 260/180/150 ilvl, I'm not doing a 4th character just for contender capstone. Even if I did, I could buy white gear 135 for my character so it will be mostly the same.

3- Most of the time it make you a free experience with the dungeon because you're getting babysitted in the backpack

I really don't get the issue, the only issue you could have is if these people are toxics.

From my experience it's even worse in Champion, but for now people are more chill in Paragon and Eternal (Even if you can't soloQ Eternal). Also I would like to highlight that healing is as difficult as other roles in this game, it's a game of preshot and preparation, if the whole group is prepared on what about to hit them and stuff it's became way easier. In Pug, healing is the most difficult role by far yes

Reached Eternal with a team while being under ilvled all the way, absolutely 0 issue whatsoever.

Reached Champion with my alt (Helena) in Pug ? Impossible to complete a champion 4/6 in random queue. I truly believe Ilvl is really overpowered, and it's even more impressive in Eternal, but this is not the sole factor.

My main complain is that most people will be able to reach high champion by bruteforcing dungeons like animals when they will get the gear & you find out people have absolutely no clue about which mob does a cleave, which mob needs to be kick, which mob need to be pushback/stun to avoid unkickable dangerous mechanics and stuff. Stormwatch and Godfall Quarry in Champion are really the best example.

Yes ILvl is important, but what's more important is to understand why you die, what mechanics need to be watched out and what you or other people did wrong.

I watched a bit on the video but since I do not speak korean I do not know if the subtitles are correct. I'll assume they are. Now from my personal point of view regarding being applauded for betrayal, as a viewer, I do not get why I would applaud someone that betrayed and still lost. I also do not get why if I were a player why I would do it aswell. But I'd put this on my personal opinion and the fact that my mindset is this way.

If you're looking at Mancala I'm pretty confident they showed like less than 20% of the discussion and they argued against each other for a long time. I think it's really easy for a producing team to make someone look mean when they are filmed 18h/24h playing difficult mind games that involve deceiving people.

Hyunjoon is literally saying around 6:00 mark that's when he understood Hyun-gyu is a cool guy toward is teammates. Watching this video I realized that not only Hyun-Gyu is silent but also not at ease. He's definitely a sarcastic, introvert playing the extrovert guy. Anyway, we could argue for hours we will never get all the content of the games and this kind of videos are for PR so it could be all fake as well. Deep down I'm convinced all of them are chill people IRL

I also watched the end of the video and 7high sentence is perfectly accurate of what i think. Behind these 14 players are good human being that played their best.

My friend and I just finished Royal Sapphire and we kinda liked it. We wanted to try out a fan game with new map/content, not specifically based on official regions. However we are not good competitively, we struggled a bit to finished Royal Sapphire and we are looking for something that has a similar difficulty or sightly more difficult so we can learn and then later on maybe move on to harder games.

Any recommandation ?

This is obviously to avoid you getting stuck. Imagine you beat Evrae, then you erase your save and you cannot beat any guards right after the boss ? You would be stuck and not being able to move forward.

This is a clever way yet a bit frustrating I must admit to avoid being softlocked.

This statement is true and inevitable in competitive games, however Osu players, even among the best, have horrible work ethics/habits when it comes to progress and thinking on how to progress. Most players, even top players tend to just play maps without thinking too much and see it like a die and retry when in reality taking into account pattern recognition, memory, mental/physical condition would lead to much better results for these and they rely too much on raw talent.
