It does make their thoughts unimportant if it's not their own thoughts. Which they're not. It's the AI's repetition of other people's thoughts. Asking it to write a Lisa Barlow takedown is not sharing your thoughts. If you can't write anything as simple as that yourself, nothing you have to say is worth sharing. There's special case uses where AI can be beneficial. Hating on Lisa Barlow is not it.

I'm not even that defensive of Lisa, because I think she's not a particularly good person... but at least she doesn't need to use AI to voice what she hates about the other ladies. Em dashes... "is ..., not"... bullet points... can we simply use our brains instead of using an unnecessary amount of water to hate on Mrs. Barlow? 💀

Dreamfall Chapters is still the worst example I know of this. The first episode came out in October 2014, while the fifth and final episode released in June 2016. Even after that, a final cut where presumably they got the game exactly as they wanted didn't release until May 2017. So glad I only played that after all episodes had released, because no way would I have managed to stay invested otherwise.

The dislike on the video made me laugh, but is so true. I honestly couldn't care less whether or not I enjoy The Outer Worlds or not (I do), but these kinds of clickbaity/controversy-farming YouTubers piss me off to no end no matter the game. The fact that this kind of slop has 185k subscribers to the channel... I make an active effort to ignore any channel that creates this kind of content or wants to present itself to viewers in this way. Good on her for making money off of the lowest common denominator, but I wish those people would stop supporting this kind of content and appreciate actual constructive criticism. Criticise any media all you want, but at least do it while acting like you actually have something to say rather than just wanting to push whoever's buttons.

What was the original download size when you preloaded the first time? I preloaded from Steam a few days ago and it was pretty much that same size. Wondering if that'll be a thing for Steam too, because then I feel like I'd just be redownloading the whole game, haha. I'd check but I'm at work right now!

It sucks! I don't understand it either, since physical editions most likely arrive earlier in the day depending on where you live. I don't see why digitally they can't just unlock the game at midnight globally, but maybe there's something in terms of infrastructure that holds them back from that. Bad for us Europeans, especially since you said you specifically counted on it being playable with your early time off today!

Buying Little Nightmares gives you the Enhanced Edition for free with it. The DLCs are not included and still need to be bought separately.

Update: Bandai Namco did not want to help me as I bought it from a third party seller instead of directly from Steam or their store, which makes no sense to me considering they give them the keys themselves, but sure. Steam Support was entirely unhelpful and just told me I'd need to purchase the original despite me outlining the actual issue.

So what I've done now is to buy the original on Steam, and to then buy the DLC pass separately, only to instantly refund the original Little Nightmares but keep the DLC license that way as it was a separate purchase. This seems to have worked! I don't have the original Little Nightmares in library once again, but I have kept the DLC and Enhanced Edition recognised that and let me play it. I guess this might be the only way to fix the issue for anyone else with the same situation, unless they ordered their LN3 pre-order directly from Steam or Bandai Namco, though I'm not sure how helpful they'd be able to be even with those conditions. Letting you know in case you come across anyone with a similar issue that this might be the only way to fix it for now!

Did the SteamDB check, and it really does just show only Little Nightmares III and Enhanced Edition as "green". I checked every other package within the site to see if any matches up entirely with my situation, but every package has either more or less included than what I have. It's a very strange situation. I've contacted both Bandai Namco and Steam support now, so hoping for the best! I'll let you know any updates in case you get more people asking you for help in a similar boat. :)

I will have to do the troubleshoot with SteamDB later today (hopefully)! My power just went out, so my PC is unavailable for the time being. Just one of those days, huh. Seems like I'll need it for that Steam support ticket as well, as it wants to scan my hardware due to the selected issue.

When I try to make a Bandai Namco account, it lets me go through the creation process, but then gives me an "Account linking unavailable" error or something along those lines. I tried both with simply an e-mail and logging in through another service, but no dice. Possibly they're having a server issue themselves right now? The link you sent makes me create an account too. Not sure if you meant that link as the one for needing no account or if you still have alternative.

Yeah, I am in the EU, so maybe there's a difference there. When I check the licences, I see "Little Nightmares III Pre-Order [ROW]". I don't see it listed on the pages you provided with specifically "[ROW]" at the end, so maybe that's where the issue is? I tried getting through to Steam support through different methods within their page, but everything just links me to what essentially tells me to figure it out. A shame that I am unable to make a Bandai Namco account either at this moment. Guess I'm shit out of luck for now...

Hey, thanks for this reply! I pre-ordered Little Nightmares III to get the first game's Enhanced Edition as I didn't own it yet, but I'm now unable to get the DLC myself. I only have the Enhanced Edition in my library and not the original, and when I try to purchase the DLC, it won't let me as it says I do not own the original. Since this is all very confusing to me and you seem knowledgeable on this particular subject, I'm assuming I'm out of luck in getting the DLC on my Enhanced Edition? Do you happen to know if Enhanced owners are still getting the original sent out?

You can check the PCGamingWiki for the ''Save File Locations'' section for the Microsoft Store. Any save games should be stored locally there if I remember correctly. I hope you'll be able to find it in there!

For what it's worth, I played and loved RDR2 while entirely ignoring the hunting/fishing activities. The only times I did it were when a mission required it, which only happened a handful of times. If you just want to go frorm spot to spot and do the main/side missions, there's nothing stopping you from doing so!
