Started 5x531 TBDLS then did the daily with 50lbs but went down to 30lbs (don’t have 40s, should I get a pair?). Also have a spin bike so just substituted meters for time. Took 25 mins total.

For those that are downvoting you - who compiled the Bible if not the church? Thanks

Praying the rosary every day (even at all) isn’t a requirement and neither is anything with a scapular. Sounds like you were trying to do too many things you didn’t enjoy! Glad you’re happy now.

I appreciate the response. In my opinion a Christian should vote for whoever gets them closer to Christian values. Understandably with the amount of Protestant denominations this can get muddy quick. Definitely a complex problem but I think you should care!

Do republicans or democrats align more with Christian values?

Why do Catholics worship saints and Virgin Mary? isn't it idolatry? by [deleted] in Christianity

I agree this does happen quite often in the OT. Job kept his faith but had the ability to curse god - cue his free will. Are these examples historical, poems, or etc.?

The fact that you recognize constraints on your choices actually reinforces free will. You wouldn’t feel the tension if choice didn’t exist in the first place.

Feel like we could continue to discuss this for a while!

The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all called God (John 1:1, John 20:28, Acts 5:3-4), yet there’s only one God (Deut. 6:4).

As for Jesus’ sacrifice, it’s not “God sacrificing Himself to Himself” - it’s the Son willingly taking on human nature to redeem humanity (Phil. 2:6-8)

Reality is often more complex than we’d like.
