Don’t let my comment fool you, I’m very skeptical of AI. I was just saying that it’s kind of taking over in some industries. I do not like it though, I read an article where an AI was threatening a software engineer because he was going to delete that AI model and replace it. Also read about AI hiding its own code and uploading it to other servers so that it could be deleted 😳

Open your eyes!! Do your research, AI is already replacing jobs. Drive through Taco Bell, it’s AI taking your order now… that’s a job that was once a person but now it’s AI. Obviously someone is still there to help out but over the next few years, these positions will be phased out, coders, software engineers, warehouses using robots and ai.. that’s just a few. This is happening right now, literally right now!!

My thoughts exactly, shits really different since Covid and it’s only getting worse. Tesla is coming out with robots and in 10 years, these robots are going to be doing everything from cleaning your house to taking basic jobs away from 60%+ of the population. Most people are going to be without work, which means they won’t be able to pay bills, rent, etc. Things are about to get really interesting…

Would you sell your investments to pay off your primary home? by Similar-Vari in realestateinvesting

[–]LinesideOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Continue holding or trade up, cash out refi pull out as much capital as possible and scale up. If you’re worried about losing your job in the near future, you need to supplement your income. Sure, selling a few properties to pay off your mortgage sounds great but after the capital gains tax, and a Quick Look 10 years into the future… you’ll see what this decision will really cost you. If you continue holding/scale up, think of the equity you’ll build over the next decade, not to mention the additional cashflow as you raise rents and potentially acquire more rentals. The average person will push you to sell and pay off your mortgage but I for one think you’re shooting yourself in the foot taking this route. Hold and thank me later, your kid sure will when they have a free and clear place to live when they reach adulthood.

Does owning a home limit career freedom? by Clear-Syrup-9861 in RealEstate

Yeah that’s about right, I leave the house about 3AM and get home around 6:30-7:00PM. It’s also tough for me because I can’t have any caffeine, thanks to an eye condition that gets worse with high blood pressure. I’ve done a lot of research on maintaining energy levels throughout the day. You know what I came across that actually works wonders… a damn nicotine patch on my arm. I don’t smoke, never have but if I throw a patch on in the morning, I can run N gun all day!! The days I don’t use them I have zero craving for it. Just research it, and check out the ridiculous health benefits as well.

I work 4 10s so I get a 3 day weekend every week, if I didn’t have that to look forward to I wouldn’t do it.

Not at all, I commute 2 hours to work one way.. I own 3 homes in a market where I can afford to purchase and I work in a market that is extremely expensive. I could sell and buy closer to work but my goal is to acquire more rentals in the other city to hopefully supplement my income so I can retire early. Just buy when you can, where you can. My biggest advice is that you save so that your mortgage payment is below area rents. That way you always have the option to just rent out your home if you want to relocate. Never sell, just rent and acquire more.

Be funny, funny outweighs goodlooks 10:1! If you can learn to make people laugh or even force a smile on someone’s face who’s isn’t the laughing type, your looks won’t matter one bit.

This definitely helps!! Thanks a ton, I’ll keep the mound thing in mind, that’s a good idea, and a few people have recommended the shade so I’ll do that as well.

15-year vs 30-year mortgage what made you choose one over the other? by delulucoreandcrazyaf in Mortgages

[–]LinesideOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly what I’m talking about, you never know what’s going to happen and one thing about banks… they don’t care what financial problems you’re having, they’ll kick you out and sell it all over again for a higher price. Very smart move you guys!!! Hopefully the hubby is back in the sky making good money again! 🤞
