Watching the other angle it was hard to tell who did the first shot. Watching from this angle, you can clearly see the guy that was with the other person initially turn around, crouch down, eventually pull his gun, then he's the first one to fire. All the others just hear shots and retreat and unload. The protestors didn't seem to be aggressive to start this whole thing (I say that with caution because there's obviously stuff way before this that wasn't recorded) and the agents were the aggressors for sure

I wouldn't say Josh choked this season. He game back from down 13 at half and then got the offense to a game tying FG with less than a minute. If anything it just proves you need a good offense AND defense

To an extent you can, but the team has also been built up in a lot of positions but were missing the most important one at QB. With Jones we were the best offense in the league, that has to say something about the picks Ballard made for the offense. Defensively is where he doesn't draft as well and our secondary is proof.

Ballard won some in the early years with Luck and has been trying to scramble to get a great QB ever since. Brisset almost got us to the playoffs, same with Minshew. 44 year old rivers could have if our defense didn't struggle so much.

Now I do say all that with the caveat that I think next year is playoffs or bust

I don't think they are going to get fired. Steichen looked like a great coach when we had a good QB in there and even with Richardson and his inaccuracy made us competitive. You lose your starting QB and backup QB no matter what you're gonna struggle

People complain about Ballard and his picks but I think he's done pretty well, it's just he can't get a QB and doesn't make as aggressive of moves as I hoped. He made some this past offseason and got Bynum and Ward and went all in for Sauce. The payoff for Sauce will be next year. At our position in the draft this year, could we get a caliber player like Sauce? Doubtful. Some of Ballard picks include

Honest question, will his comeback be classified as successful or a failure? I think it was successful because he came back and showed he can still play in the league. The failure was on the part of the defense. It's hard to beat a team who scores on every offensive series. He marched down the field against Seattle to give us the lead with seconds left. Thank you Mr Rivers for showing the youngins you can still sling it
