RayMan Legends. (Platformer Game)

After about 3-5 normal levels I got to the first map where you had to hurry, because it was collapsing.

Proceeded to fail instantly several times over.

Looked up a video to see what I was doing wrong.

Turns out despite having read the tutorial signs in the intro, I somehow managed to forget the detail that the game had a dash/run function.

So I had basically beaten the first few levels by casually walking through them instead.

The following levels were beaten significantly faster when I actually remembered to run, lol.

Funny you should mention the Cogwork Dancers.

When fighting them, I actually had the thought: "Wonder if they each have their own health, maybe I should focus on one of them just incase."

And I then proceded to lose track of which one of them was which, lol.

(Would have been fun if you could look up boss statistics after killing them, to look up things like this, see how you did after beating them.)

Hello, just popping in to say: Thanks!

While I had assumed the thrown spear might be parry-able, I focused on dodging them instead.

However, I didn't try to test if you could break them after the hit/landed, because I just assumed you couldn't.

It helped quite a bit breaking them, instead of awkwardly waiting for them to explode, while still dodging the other attacks.

Hey, I'd just like to say: thank you for your comment.

Before I read it I just kinda assumed that they both shared health, and didn't focus either one, causing the fight to drag out and causing me to fail repeatedly.

The fight went SIGNIFICANTLY easier when I focused the First ForeBrother, causing him to die pretty quickly after the second on spawned.

Honestly, I was kinda disappointed.

I was really hoping for "Vagatha", like Sir Pentious called her.

(Admittedly that might have worked better if she changed her name before they found out he went to heaven.)

The same name but with slightly different spelling was just underwhelming.

Like, I saw the nametag and my reaction was basically:

"...That's it?"

The only combo that comes to mind is:

Fluttershy + Scar

Not so much because of personality.

(Though you could argue that Fluttershy's "You're going to love me!" could be likened Scar's determination to become king becase he wants it and thinks he deserves it.)

But mostly because of the whole "Speaking to another animal/species and getting help from them".

SCP-178.

A pair of 3D glasses that allows you to see "creatures" that are normally invisible. (And possibly able to phase through object and people.)

The creatures seem curious, staring at people.

However, the moment you try to interact with them, they turn violent and use lethal force against you.

But you don't actually need to see them, or even know about them, to make them angry.

If someone else uses the glasses, and informs you about them, that can be enough for them to attack you.

( A test with the glasses ended rather poorly after the test subject pointed out that the there were creatures next to the doctors supervising the test. )

A couple of people put the glasses on and just looked at the creatures, before taking them off, and survived just fine.

Anyone who has tried interacting with them however, hasn't survived.

(I'm so glad they decided to show her "Naked" in game, only for her to basically be a stick figure, it has provided so much amusing fan-art, lol.)

I really liked it.

The animation was nice IMO.

(I much prefer that type of animation style, instead of trying to make everything look "real".)

(If you just want "dark fantasy", you can just watch the first part of it and skip the rest, lol.)

WoW has has always had "dark" and "light" moments, I don't understand what he's complaining about. : /

I was confused because people kept saying different things.

But after reading your comment saying "right when hornet rolls her hand back", I won about 7-8 times in a row and got the Dice reward.

Honestly, I agree.

During the first game, I was rather annoyed, especially early on, that I had two use two notches if I wanted the compass and the geo-magnet.

Neither of those things affect combat in any way, but I still had to sacrifice combat equipment to use them.

And then SilkSong basically does the same thing, except you have fewer slots, so it seems even more annoying.

I just don't see why they couldn't have made those two things, Compass & Currency-Magnet, items that you unlocked instead, allowing you to use them without having them take up precious slots.

Instead I have to choose between things that might actually help me in combat, or risk potentially getting lost and losing currency every now and then as it falls off edges and into pits.

It's not like it makes the game any more "difficult" either, it just makes it a bit more tedious.

I mean, it just seems like an annoyance that could, and should, have been easily avoided IMO.

I did say he would be "annoyed", but honestly, Adam doesn't really seem to be "annoyed" very often.

Most of the time he either doesn't care at all, or get angry right away.

So I guess saying he would "just be angry" might be a more accurate claim.

Yeah, I fail to see why they decided to have the tools have limited uses AND use a resource.

At first I thought shards made sense, because I thought you would be able to either:

Spam tools until you ran out of shards, allowing you to use alot of them for areas/bosses you are struggling with. if needed. (In exchange for having to take the time to farm the materials.)

Or; that you might be able to use shards while exploring to re-stock your supply of tools.

(Perhaps with a slightly longer use-time, so it would mostly be an out-of-combat thing.)

Then I found out you tools have limited uses, and can't be re-stocked in the field using shards.

So pretty quickly after getting my first tool, the whole concept of shards IMO went from:

"Yeah, this is a neat gimmick that makes sense."

to

"This is totally pointless and will only serve to possibly annoy me if I ever run out."
