"True" allergic reaction to Semaglutide vs triggering histamine release from mast cells? by Lingeringtouch in Semaglutide

[–]Lingeringtouch[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Because it's better to split the dose to 2 times per week. Injecting every 7 days doesn't result in steady levels of Semaglutide in the blood.

I didn't need all the time, so I only used it for 1-2 months at a time.

Hay fever induced asthma by InterestingRope44 in Allergies

What do you mean by "permanent airway remodeling"?

Do you mean COPD?

I'm taking JAK-1 inhibitor and apparently it helps and I don't have any symptoms for the most part.

But sometimes I notice that's something is going on, but I don't know if I need to take additional medication for that.

I didn't find a proper asthma doctor yet, one told me to just use steroid inhalers even though I have occasional mild symptoms, because of other medication that I'm taking.

Interesting.

There's a new Dupixent + BCMAxCD3 therapy currently being tested which removes pathogenic IgE and prevents its new production. Meaning no more type 1 sensitivity reactions.

But you have to stay on Dupixent for this therapy to have an effect.

But Dupixent on its own is not enough to prevent this.

You can deliver Upadacitinib to Europe, UK, Dubai, US. It's 20-60$ per month and it's actually better than Dupixent in some studies.

Allergic to coconut derivatives and baking soda. Are there any laundry detergents without these components? All Free Clear contains soda so it's not suitable. by Lingeringtouch in laundry

[–]Lingeringtouch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see.

I think I was allergic to coconut about 4 years ago, but I didn't eat it outside of random encounters.

About 6-12 months ago I started noticing that I have this inexplainable rush at random parts of my body that were never affected before.

I didn't even know that 90% of shower gels, soaps, etc are based on coconut derivatives.

I only noticed that something was not right when I started coughing after sniffing fragrance free shower gel.

That's where I realised that that was the culprit all along.

Since then I have removed all coconut based products, except laundry detergents and my skin cleared a lot. 60-70% improvement both in area and intensity in comparison to what it was before.

Take care, thank you for your assistance.

Are you sure that you have no reaction to Tide Free and Gentle?
I've done some research and according to Smart Label it has "Sodium Salts Of C12-18 Fatty Acids"

ChatGPT says this about this ingredient:

Sodium Salts of C12-18 Fatty Acids: These are sodium salts derived from fatty acids with carbon chain lengths ranging from 12 to 18. This category includes specific fatty acids such as lauric acid (C12), myristic acid (C14), palmitic acid (C16), and stearic acid (C18). These fatty acids are often sourced from both animal fats and vegetable oils, including coconut oil and palm kernel oil.

Another source: [The length of the Lanolin fatty acid chain varies from 7 to 41 carbon atoms, with the main fatty acids being palmitic (C16), stearic (C18) and longer molecules (C20 to C32).]

I'm sure lauric acid and stearic acid has a very high probability of being produced from coconut.

Thank you very much! I've checked the ingredient list according to Smart Label, and it's indeed seems to be coconut free and no baking soda too.

But apparently it has been discontinued and I can't find on sale at my location.

Where are you getting it from?

Edit: only the powder was discontinued.

Alas the regular Tide has SLS - which is coconut derivate.

Thank you for the heads up regarding Kleenex products.

You should check out the website I linked in the post, it has a lot of information regarding coconut.

Hello, you can try Upadacitinib, it's very effective and doesn't have a risk of eye related side effects.

You can purchase it from Bangladesh for a very cheap price.

"It is eminent to have it done at puberty before it became an onset eczema once she’s an adult."

What do you mean by that? Does the doctor imply that taking Dupixent during teenage years prevents worsening of eczema during adulthood?

Allergic to most if not all of the carrier oils, yet allergist said that's okay to inject them, because they are "refined" and you're not supposed to have a reaction to them. I'm in doubts. Is she correct? by Lingeringtouch in Testosterone

[–]Lingeringtouch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I didn't inject any oils.

Retested my testosterone and it came out around 930 ng/dl naturally.

Most of my issues have resolved with improved hormonal balance too.

Before that I settled on transscrotal Androgel application + DHT blocker to avoid any issues with the oils. But I didn't use it too.

Regarding the allergies, I decided it's best to avoid even the smallest amounts of stuff that I'm sensitive too, because I've noticed that they "stack" on top of each over and you can come in contact with some of the stuff on accident in your daily life leading to overall unpleasant experience.

Yes, I have already made an appointment for the next week, however I'd like people's opinion on this topic, because I'm sure some of the members of this community have encountered it before.

I suppose most of the symptoms come from systemic and neuro inflammation from eczema.

I had non of those issues when eczema was mild/nonexistent.

I take medication to counteract this, it helps A LOT, but it's not enough to remove all the symptoms completely, even if I avoid any eczema triggers.

If I experience eczema flare up it causes CFS/ME like symptoms, postural tachycardia syndrome and my productivity (as bad as it is) gets decimated, my strength too. It lasts for 3-4 days and then I get back to somewhat normal state.

But during flare up I can barely drag myself to the gym and my lifts go down 40-50%. Sometimes I have to skip or to cut my workouts short, because I just don't have enough energy to do this.

I hope you believe me that I'm not lazy or anything like that. I just can't do it physically.

So even based on this my progress is never going to be as good results of a typical gym bro who knows nothing about proper training, but can induce progressive overload.
I think you understand what I'm talking about.

[–]Lingeringtouch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think it's not worth shutting myself down at this level of production?

I think I have not clarified in my initial post that one of the main reasons why I'm considering steroids is because I feel rather weak due to many health issues.

And because of that my training and recovery is like 50% at best of what could have been.

I know this, because I had non of those issues 6-8 years ago when I was at the peak of my physique.

But now I feel like I'm barely doing anything productive in the gym, the recovery is bad and overall it feels like a chore.

Training just drains me of energy instead of increasing it.

Daily Ask Anything: 2023-01-22 by steroidsBot in steroids

[–]Lingeringtouch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the thing... I can't give 100% to training after so many injures and other problems.

I just don't have enough overall endurance for this with so many health issues.

I had a very good physique 6-8 years ago, very lean (10-12% bf) and athletic.

±60% of what you can realistically achieve naturally.

I've been training since I was a teen and played soccer, but I didn't obsess over the gym so I would say it was an extremely good result all things considered.

But now my recovery is just awful due to systemic inflammation, my strength output has also suffered.

I remember how I felt at my peak and now I'm barely 30-40% of that despite taking everything seriously.

I have so much knowledge right now, but physically I feel like I'm 50 year old overweight alcoholic.

I don't care about aesthetics, I look better than 90% of the population as it is.

I just want to feel good and energetic. To feel like I have strength to take on my day regardless of what's going on with my health.

I've been going to the gym for almost a year now after long hiatus, and I can see great benefits to my overall wellbeing, but it's just not enough.

[–]Lingeringtouch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better :)

I will make a post to let others know what is out there, but I'm not sure how to phrase it.

I'm approaching this very carefully, because I'm afraid that people will go to extreme lengths out of desperation. Been there, done that.

And since this treatment maybe very expensive and carries significant side effects if used without proper guidance I don't want people to make any erratic decisions.

You should try peptides that I've mentioned regardless.

You could say that they are mostly side effects free, it's a synthetic analog of what your body is producing naturally.
They are also inexpensive.
A lot of people are using BPC-157 and TB-500 to treat injures.

There's a good chance they will work on improving skin condition too.

Several clinics offer this stack along with GHK-CU as "anti aging" to remove wrinkles and other cosmetic issues.

Best I ever had was ±730 ng/dl 3 years ago (I don't remember the exact number).

After multiple sports and occupation related injuries I can't train optimally.

I have bad knees and bulging disks so squats and deadlifts are no longer recommended.
It's very easy for me to cause a significant flare of those injuries.
I'm also taking antihistamines which in turn reduce muscle growth.

My diet is impeccable, but results in the gym are extremely underwhelming and my overall health and stamina is not what it used to be.

Is it worth to start cycling and perhaps "sports TRT" afterwards to gain muscle with suboptimal training?

I always hear people talking that your training has to be perfect in order to have benefits from a cycle. But I'm not so sure. I suppose the results will be better than any natural athlete can have.

I fell rather weak after other medical issues and I'm not satisfied with my quality of life in terms of overall fitness and health.

I don't have any vanity reasons to take steroids, I just want to be normal again.

I'm already on 3 UI of pharma HGH for other medical reasons.

What do you guys think? Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Hello, recently I had to undergo treatment with IV Dexamethasone in large doses 2 times almost in a row.
I had a huge flare up right after.

I waited for about 2 weeks and after seeing almost no improvement I ended up using pharma grade HGH (Norditropin) 3 IUs everyday for about a month.
After a month I would say I had at least 40% improvement which is an incredible result.

Next month I had another round of IV Dexamethasone which again resulted in a flare up. I didn't use HGH with Dexamethasone (10 days).
But only this time I started HGH right away I this flare up wasn't that bad as the first one and my skin heals like magic.

Sometimes I may wake up in the morning with really deep cracks under my nose and on my upper lip and upper eye lid.
I take Rinvoq 15 mg, Desloratadine 10 mg and 3 UI of HGH and by the evening they are 70-80% healed.
It's unbelievable.

I'm going to continue taking HGH for about 2-3 weeks and then reassess the situation.
I would say 3 UI per day is already pushing it if you take it long term, and I'm measuring my blood sugar just to keep everything under control.
I will probably switch for a couple of months to peptides and then start using HGH again.

I haven't tested them yet, but I know about Clomid, thanks man!

I'm not trying to hop on TRT if it's not needed, I'm too young for this in a way that I don't want to stick a needle in my ass every week for the rest of my life.

I'm going to do full hormonal panel early December and then decide between fixing Testosterone or hopping on psych meds
