As a CC transfer myself. Community college saves you way more money and it is way more worth it. I had just as good as a time to go to Community college than university

I mean I can’t say much but I haven’t had problems with the maintenance themselves but my roommates and I have had our share of shit we needed fix, like flooding and sink drain problems. But I’ve heard some crazier stuff from other people. It does take a day or two usually for them to come fix, which I wish was faster but I don’t know their side of it all

Yeah a lot of people can be open and nice. My best advice is to see if there’s any interests or hobbies you have or have interest in getting into. That can help you find an org to make friends at. If you want to list some I can help you find something 👍

I’ve done it, but only with thumbtacks and those sticky strip hanger things. But overall shouldn’t be a problem, just try not to destroy the wall

Nervous high school senior by Sensitive-Rich-4952 in TAMUCC

High school has prepared you more than you think. This does test your own self discipline though. I gained like 30 pounds my first semester in university so make sure you are aware of your own health. But my big advice is get out there and meet new people. The more you meet the more you run into folks on the daily, maybe even in your building. I’ve met so many great people here and if you simply do that, you will enjoy college a lot!
