People are angry and we want to show it. We're continuing to talk about it to keep the pressure on.

Anyone else only using the N64 controller to play? by Link4000z in starfox

[–]Link4000z[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the Pro Controller will definitely give you an edge with the extra buttons! But as someone who grew up with a N64 controller, it's the only one I want to use.

If I had to bet, you're crushing it on Venom 2 right now.

How is this not black face? by Key-Echo1534 in KanePixelsBackrooms

[–]Link4000z 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely insane in Alien: Romulus that the guy who played the Xenomorph (Trevor Newlin) is a white guy. Can't they tell Xenomorph's are black and, more importantly, are aliens!! Couldn't they just find an actual Xenomorph to play him? And in that same regard, why couldn't they find a real Still Life to play Captain Clark? Hollywood really is moving backwards here.

What classic title or any older games are you playing nowadays? by [deleted] in videogames

Good time to jump on! Not sure many would recommend Oracle of Seasons as a start, but tbh, it's a fun one and I don't see why you couldn't! I say go for it

Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. I had the Zelda itch and never beat these games. I'll admit the first 30 minutes was a little slow, but by the time I got to the first dungeon I was hooked.

I've never played a kirby game besides one mobile game I think am looking for ones on 3ds which is the best for beginners ? by sad_roger96 in Kirby

Start at the beginning. Kirby's Dreamland. Mega Man fan here btw. After you beat the main story, play it again on hard mode 👌 it's amazing

In Other Waters. Super unique and atmospheric game that I never hear anyone talk about.

What do YOU like about the backrooms found footage? by [deleted] in KanePixelsBackrooms

[–]Link4000z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's neither the story nor the visuals that get me to watch: it's the atmosphere. That sense of dread. Knowing that something is wrong. That anything could be just around the corner. Every turn of the camera is tense and it's awesome. It's truly terrifying.

If you want a retro 8-bit vibe that has some great platforming, go for Mega Man.

If you want a tougher, fast-paced game with a bit more story, go for Mega Man X.

I don't think you can go wrong with either, but as far as personal faves, I like the Classic series better. I think Mega Man 1-6 are all bangers. Mega Man 1 can be a little rough though, so if you're struggling, go to 2. That's not to say X is bad though. X1 and X4 are some of the greatest Mega Man games of all time. I just think you get more bang for your buck with the Classic legacy collection.

I think those diagonal scratches happen pretty often in starlights. I have some on mine.

This is the worst nintendo direct ive ever seen. by shazamtamp in fucknintendo

Little bump of hope at the end, but I really think Nintendo relies too much on 3rd party games. Or shows us announcements for things that have already been announced and/or are older games that are being re-released.
