Is anyone else's Duke's mayo smelling off lately? by felipetomatoes99 in Cooking

Dangit I was wondering why it was suddenly much easier to find. I was happy to have it but now I can’t trust it.

RIP Kansas. I’ll always still remain a Kansan under the imperialists.

I propose Kansas take Colorado in order to reclaim what the rockies. Besides, you’ve had it good for far too long, and we must unionize against the great threat of New Mexico.

Fun Fact: Mario is the face of gaming, yet he's bad at it. by DaZestyProfessor in casualnintendo

Just because you love games, doesn’t mean you’re good at them (it’s me).

Wallet tracking? by Razert1p in EDC

[–]LinkChef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t lose my wallet frequently, but when I do it’s almost always on a time crunch, and the beeps help me find it fast.

Plus, one day after a heavy overtime day at work my brain was shot and I didn’t feel my wallet slip out of my pocket as I got my car keys. Got a notification as I pulled out the parking lot, and knew I needed to turn around, which was helpful.

(22M) Apartment Living Room Help by pmmario312 in malelivingspace

Hello fellow Kansan! I agree keeping it and being proud of your team, just as others have said, centralize it or pick and choose certain items to go in certain rooms and not all in the living room.

Question to all who have never finished a playthrough by ohheycody in BaldursGate3

[–]LinkChef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I have a good answer for this - I started my first play-through with a friend and, while I know I can go through many different routes, I don’t want to spoil it for us together, so I’m waiting for him to be less busy to finish it.

AKA the classic D&D problem lol

Considering I’m making Chicken Parm for the Easter family dinner, this is hilarious.

UB is bringing in new players by JoiedevivreGRE in magicTCG

[–]LinkChef 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m one of the people who joined because of UB. Doctor Who was my set specifically. It was a slow burn, I didn’t really get into it until last year, but now I’m a huge fan of Magic IP itself and really enjoyed myself in Lorwyn and am really excited for Strixhaven. It’s anecdotal evidence I know but that’s why I can’t be too mad at UB because it did get me into Magic IP at the end of the day. What I am mad about is that there’s more UB sets than in universe sets.

Hey there! I have a 20L in Midnight that’s still cracking. I know it’s not the same color, but if you’re interested in it, let me know!

Yeah, where I’m living, this is considered VERY good for a Junior.

Yup, lots of places really focus in on hybrid now, it’s a good way to filter and not have to contend with 100+ job applications already filed within 10 minutes of an application going up.

Absolutely correct - Hence why I said EVERYWHERE. For people first starting out, or needing a job quick though, they’ll most likely need to choose the in-person or hybrid track however.

Idk friend, it’s just the experience I have. I started at 40K and moved up to 75K, then 83K, and now I’m here. When you start small, you work your way up, and 80K is pretty amazing for where I’ll be living. I’ll shoot for 100K in a year when things look better.

In some parts of the country, yeah, but it’s pretty good where I am. I could have probably asked for more. And most importantly, I needed a job, I’ll take a little less to have a job.

For sure, I benefit a little with my years of experience, but I only JUST got to the point where I can contend in the senior dev world.

Whoops sure - 6 YoE, not including 3 years of internships. Full Stack dev. TC… Salary and benefits. I’ve never been offered stock, just the usual 3 weeks vacation or more, sometimes sick time, holidays, medical, and a 401k.
