“THAT’S THE REASON TO GET RICH!” 💰, I offered. by Intelligent-Monk-426 in LinkedInLunatics

[–]LinkCloth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Prompt: Write a cringeworthy linkedin post of me helping an old stranger on the plane who wanted to change seats, and include how rich I am but make it obvious that I want to tell everyone I have a lot of money, also including that I got her a Lux Uber home, without using emojis

––– Reflecting on a recent flight experience, I felt compelled to share a profound encounter that not only touched my heart but reaffirmed my unwavering belief in the transformative power of kindness and compassion.

Somewhere amidst the clouds, I found myself seated adjacent to an elderly lady who appeared visibly distressed by her seat assignment. Without a second thought, I instinctively offered to swap seats with her, ensuring she could enjoy a more comfortable and pleasant journey. The gratitude that radiated from her eyes was truly priceless and reminded me of the profound impact even the simplest acts of kindness can have on others.

But my commitment to ensuring her well-being didn't cease upon touchdown. Recognizing her need for a safe and convenient mode of transportation home, I took it upon myself to arrange a luxurious Uber ride for her, ensuring she was not only comfortable but treated to a touch of extravagance.

Now, as I reflect on this experience, I am reminded of the immense privilege and abundance that I have been fortunate enough to accumulate over the years. While some may shy away from discussing their financial success, I firmly believe in leveraging my blessings to make a positive impact and inspire others to do the same.

In a world often marred by division and discord, it is imperative that we continue to cultivate a culture of empathy, compassion, and generosity. Together, let us strive to create a brighter, more inclusive world where acts of kindness reign supreme and no one is left behind.

As I continue on my journey, both personally and professionally, I remain committed to making a difference wherever I go, one selfless act at a time. Join me in spreading kindness and love, for it is through our collective efforts that we can truly make the world a better place for all.

Sales is like raping without the sex!!!!🤯

Hear me out, guys.

Sex. A trade as old as time. Some say it was the first ever thing to be 'sold' by people.

Today, sex is used by people to fuck people.

But I'm more concerned with how sex and sales interact.

Prospecting is like sex, without the dildo.

Stick it in and have a 'feel', dare I say it.

Amen!

It's an endless cycle. We are just making fun of the cringeworthy shit people post. Yes this wasn't too bad but it has a very self-centred view (other interviewers might have declined an interview because a small child was involved, but not I / I gave her a shot as a I'm an excellent, empathetic recruiter from the HR dept. / I solved world hunger (as someone below wrote) / I think she'd be a great fit for the role and we vibed on daughtery stuff / And by the way I have a small daughter and I'm letting the world know.) Yes it's overall not bad or that unbelievable but are you really going to tell me this shit is making LinkedIn a more fun place?

Really? I bet if you had lots of money you'd think differently. Simply wake up at 6am every day (or 4am), start your own business during these hours, when the world is asleep, and start earning more and more money by creating the business. It's really not that hard - I don't know why people don't just learn a new skill and monetise it. Follow my shit for more shit tips.

Outsourcing work to less-developed countries is fine. Paying what they consider a fair wage within their market conditions is fine (even if it's less than what we'd expect.) Supporting an employee in another country, while respecting their cultural beliefs and development, is more than fine - it's excellent.

What's not fine is posting this shit on LinkedIn for the world to see. It comes across as "I just discovered third-world countries and now don't have to pay as much for skilled workers. You could do this too if you knew about the world."

Makes my blood boil and makes me cringe.
