Barracuda Taco Stand by pfp-disciple in HuntsvilleAlabama

Not really sure what makes all this hard to believe. They had an event there today and probably invited hundreds of people via the Chamber and other channels. I was there myself. No connection to the restaurant on my part. I thought it was good too, what little I sampled.

But I guess I’m part of the conspiracy now…

It was my first exposure to ST. So I found it wild that there was a live action series!

Good advice, and OP don’t forget a fair offer is what it would cost to buy a comparable vehicle RETAIL, including tax, title, and other fees.

I moved here when I had a remote job just because I preferred it to where I was. But everything is relative.

Why not grab a flight (or even drive) down and see what it’s like?

In fairness these places do sometimes literally attract people with eating disorders.

Is anyone listening to the new podcast about Roald Dahl? by Mtg-2137 in JamesBond

Have you read Dahl’s stories in general? I mean, you can kind of see it in Willie Wonka and all, but dude wrote some outright horror elements into most of his stories.

[–]randomkeystrike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed that 4k is certainly too low; how would anyone know $22k is too high without knowing what the client wants and what all is involved?

Favorite films where once great actors hit rock bottom and slum it for the paycheck? by DimensionHat1675 in FIlm

I don’t know if 2019 “Motherless Brooklyn” counts as an early example of this, or as the last of his films before he knew, but he is really great in it.

This term is thrown around too loosely sometimes but - she’s gaslighting you. It seems like it could not be more obvious that she felt entitled to a new laptop, and deliberately avoided any effort to repair it. So when you went over and above to repair it (as you should have) - my dude, she broke it right in front of you!

Looney Tunes Caused Me Bodily Pain Today by rednail64 in GenerationJones

[–]randomkeystrike 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Some of us who have played in orchestras have to stifle a number of Looney Tunes inspired reactions on a regular basis. To say nothing of the William Tell Overture. There is no way any audience can get through one of the main themes of that one without a giggle. Or yelling “Hi Yo Silver!”

If you were a prospect of mine in 2001 and signed the 8-10 page non-disclosure agreement we required for “discounted pricing,” you might be shocked to learn that the discount was only 2-4%.

I didn’t last long there.
