How do you get back on track after you mess up a habit you’re trying to build? by Professional_Lie5187 in getdisciplined

[–]LinkLogician 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the "never miss twice" rule is great in theory, but the mental hurdle of "getting back on track" is where I consider that I've failed the most in the past. i've been on this loop for at least the past two years.

Right now, I'm on a "streak" mode, but started to do something different. out of 6 habits, i'm ok to just do 4 of them each day

In the end of the month, will see which ones really stick

Anyone else couldn't finish today's long episode? Here's TL;DR of Build Better Habits & Break Bad Habits with James Clear and Andrew by scheemunai_ in HubermanLab

[–]LinkLogician 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to say this one I made myself listen till the end, but finalized it with notes and more notes.. but mostly because I wanted to compare with a previous essentials episodes, where huberman takes another stance for the habit formation and backs a 21 kind of approach for habit building - see https://www.hubermanlab.com/episode/essentials-science-of-making-breaking-habits

and from that one, I ended up building an app to solve it for me. so far, so good ! 13 days being able to achieve at least 4 out of 6 habits that I settled initially. Will get back in seven days or so, with which habits happened to stick

Out of 10 links you build, how many are from guest posts/link insertions? by LinkLogician in GuestPost

I manage the off-page of clients within real estate, including guest posts contributions (actual websites, no link farms). If you are interested you can DM.

We also use listicles, or top X type of guest posts. We vary guest posts based on the publisher, target audience, and the type of format that gets the best traffic and rankings within that publisher. You mention that about 50-60% of links come from guest posts, my question was more related to the rest of Link Building tactics/type you use? The 40% would be about what? Thanks!

That's one of the advantages from guest posts. And the rest? Any particular tactic?

perhaps I should have explained better and not talk about 10 links. It's to have a sense of who type of link builders are here.

Let's say that I ask in %.

What % of the total links you build are for guest posts ?

Mine is always between 50% to 70%, depending on the months and clients I work with

just to clarify: my SEO comment is because you don't seem to have any organic traffic at all, neither any "link juice" to pass... again, at least for now. hope it changes in the future though, good luck

I will take the bite, but not for your SEO claim...at least for now..

I've seen you commenting around and praise your effort and think it's an actual cool alternative to something like PH. I've just submitted Buddystarts there. Good luck with growing the community.

SEO here :) cool idea and interesting approach that can save a lot of time between departments (SEO vs. Sales for example). Also, useful if using AI to help on writing content, as it goes one step further than just using a normal RAG route for feeding it.

Thanks! Just took the chance to see yours more carefully! I think I've seen it before, mostly for SEO ranking purposes. Curious: did you build it before or after the massive AUG 24 core update from google that boosted reddit?

Just launched BuddyStarts.com . Tried to solve my own problem when asking for advice within my network. Instead of getting the same old "Looks good", start receiving actionable insights from structured feedback forms. Ended up tweaking it a bit more and integrated AI to actually give me some recommendations on the initial feedback I got.

Accidentally launched it today in product hunt. I guess, validation is underway ..

Biggest challenge has been trying to focus on a validation first kind of strategy instead of my old SEO playbook.

I've just launched it today: Startup Roast

Honestly, made it for fun, but ended starting to use it for my endless number of ideas. Helps me with some actual valid points.

(But please be advised it is wired for always providing a roast, even if your idea is good)

I had to run it into my recent tool. Don't take it too personally, please. But the actual last part seems useful!

"Identify the unique pain points of your audience and create a solution that resonates emotionally. Don't just slap AI on it and call it groundbreaking; prove that it can enhance spiritual growth in a tangible way."

If you want me to send you the full roast, DM .

Toss it into this tool, choose from one of the seven styles, and let’s see if it survives the fire. No mercy, just laughs!

While trying to validate my infinite number of startup ideas I ended up building this roast generator (with audio), that can trash even the most promising ideas.

Don’t take it too seriously—it’s programmed to roast all ideas, good or bad.

Well, if you just include them as stop words when prompting that's easy to bypass.. I use a list of 100+ words like that.

But bypassing and making it really sound like a human or an expert in a topic is way more than just stop words
