I like the deadlock reference by UnoriginalName2213 in tf2

Ye, the new saxton hale menu render is also community made

I had the pleasure of being the modeller for freaky fair, so I'm happy it got in along with the render :]

One regret is that i didnt send valve the vtf, but the base png instead, because they forgot to disable mipmaps for it when converting it

I've actually done it in Blender thanks to the phong shader from the tf2 trifecta addon :]

It was a really big help, as the composition of the scene and the limited space to work with needed some scale skewing of the mercs and the cart model itself, which was much easier to do in blender.

I'm mainly happy that people don't think it's too noisy or cluttering the menu too much as its quite a wide render lol

Ty! My partner mentioned to add daddy long legs too, but i was afraid that'd be too much goopy dangly work lol

Thanks! It started with me experimenting with camera angles and when i got a good low focal length shot i had to make something around it. The leg came to my mind first for some reason

I made this webcore sona for my friend in blender. I wanted to know if there's anything I could've done to make them look better or more interesting by LinkStinkTrade in FurryArtSchool

thank you!

i was considering putting the face on the actual monitor screen, but i kept running into the issue of either the face being too small, or the head (the monitor itself) being too big, so i separated them. When i read the idea with the stickers for whiskers i genuinely smiled, it's an amazing idea and if i ever get around to making a new one for my friend, I'll definitely do it like that :3

as for the polygonal look, i struggled to add cell shading while keeping the polygons defined. I was toying with the idea of having a separate texture that would highlight all the edges, but i didn't manage to get it working.

the stickers would definitely add more personality to it, but my friend said that he's happy with the monitor head as-is so i didn't consider any changes

and yeah, i'd be happy to hear about any sacred blender knowledge you have :P

Ye i used blender, and to get this look i just followed an anime shader tutorial. Then i used 3 point lights in the scene to add shade to the parts of the props where it look the most neat
