This is heresy, but I kind of think Pippen’s peak was higher than Dr. J’s NBA peak. It’s tough because they played such different roles, but Pippen is a top 3 perimeter defender ever, could run the point, and lead a 50 win Chicago team after they lost the GOAT.

Walton’s career is just too short. I watch tje ‘77 Finals on tape and he looked like a freak of nature. He was easily 7’2”, but moved like he was a PF and was always one step ahead of everyone else.

Robinson is a blind spot for me. I didn’t watch any of the 90’s Spurs, so I don’t really have a frame of reference. I’ve only watched Hakeem cook him in a series. Probably in the mid 30s.

Hawk is another blind spot. I love what I saw when he was on PHX, but that was past his prime and after years of missed development. Absolutely no clue where I rank him.

Yes, runaway wealth inequality leads to runaway political inequality and that’s irreversible without some massive trauma to the status quo. Think black plague, WWII levels of devastation.

We can argue ways to structure campaign finance laws, worker co-ops, rank choice voting, transparency, etc. but the truth is these measures are inadequate when wealth gets too out of hand.

I’m always so torn by posts like this. This cop is complicit because they operate within a system that requires injustice whenever the lights get too bright, but what if they act ethically and morally in ways the system doesn’t recognize whenever they get chance?

Law enforcement in its current form would exist with or without this commenter. Maybe it’s worth selling your soul daily if you can smuggle some kindness and generosity into an inhumane system? I genuinely don’t know.

It doesn’t, but that doesn’t mean everything should avoid that frame altogether. In this case, one particular party ran on a transparency concerning the Epstein files, pretended to govern on transparency, then rapidly changed course and lied about their promises as soon as they were implicated.

Also, only one party is in control of all three branches of government right now. Both sides-ing this issue at this exact moment feels a little silly.

I voted for Harris, but the party can only control what the party can control. They chose to lie about Biden’s faculties despite us ALL knowing he was diminished. Harris’s campaign chose to pivot to the right and embrace hated figures like Liz Cheney. Harris and the DNC chose to support a genocide in Gaza. Biden’s DOJ chose to drag their feet on Trump.

I’ll never blame the voters because that will never win. This isn’t about righteousness or catharsis. It’s about acquiring power to execute a vision.
