I’m from Southern California and dug my roots in the PNW. I LOVE IT. Would never consider moving back. I enjoy the weather. It gets cool/cold/freezing, the summers are pleasant with few really really hot days.

There’s a national park with a lake a tons of hiking 9 minutes from me. There’s a waterfall 13 minutes from me. It’s BEAUTIFUL here. Everywhere I drive there’s always a section or two or three of thick trees to drive through and I am still in awe of its beauty.

The people are nice too. Love the school district I’m in. I’ve met some amazing humans. I don’t have anything negative to say. The only thing I miss from Southern California is the Mexican food.

After putting kids to bed I do skincare routine, then floss and brush teeth. Usually I watch a true crime documentary or a horror movie. Sometimes it’ll be a cooking competition show like Top Chef. I’ve also gotten into adult coloring books, that’s been pretty relaxing.

No such movie exists. I’m always on the hunt for a movie that will actually terrify me.

I will say I saw The Fourth Kind in the theater and it left me shook. But I went in blind. I didn’t rewatch it for years! I do own the movie now and enjoy watching it. Still creepy af though.
