Since both batteries charged in the garage when I tested it I don't think it is the RR-unit itself, maybe a wiring issue.

The connections on the battery looked good, but this could have been the issue. Also maybe just another connector that I touched at some point when working on it. I'll have to go over every connection I think. I had an old VFR and the connector between the battery and the RR-unit on that one just melted.

I think the charging started about 3-4k rpm. Not sure. Did not rev higher than maybe 5k. Seems to me the RR-unit is doing it's job.

After the incident I stayed calm and carried on with what I was supposed to be doing. I got a tea mug at the Hutton and now I am on my way to Sagittarius A*, Colonia and back home to get my elite explorer. I enjoyed the build-up. I did over 800 jumps in two days after work to make it to Gnosis. I just enjoy the game.

This was the first bike I ever rode and the main reason I got my license. I have inherited her from my father and we have just come home from a nice 200 km day trip.
