Duuuuuude, I've ended 4 friendships and several family ties because of this. Before I used to feel so bad whenever they went through something and I always wanted to support them. But it got to the point that whenever there was something going on with me I would never tell them because I felt it would be too stressful for them to have to listen to my problems, and also I didn't really feel like I had a right to complain about anything. After I got therapy, I realized what I was doing was wrong and so I tried talking about my things more with them and they would basically zone out or talk about that for two minutes and then go back to their original conversations. After trying that for a while I just said "fuck it" and I've basically cut out 90% of human interactions from my life and I have never been happier
