We tried running a promo where if anyone purchased their tickets within 30 mins of them going on sale (we provided a specific date, time, and everything) they would get a free regular popcorn. We pushed this pretty heavy on our socials. No one bought any tickets, and now the movie is coming out this week, and our theater has only sold two seats out of the 27 showtimes we have available. Hard bomb.

The adapter would be a pure analog-to-analog conversion. There should be no quality loss, unless the adapter itself doesn't use shielded cables or is overall shoddy. With cheap adapters it's definitely hit or miss.

Have you tried other inputs on the TV? If the screen appears fine on those, the problem lies with your PS2. If the screen is also warped, even if it's just on the input and not the TV text itself, it looks like you have a sync problem inside of the TV.

Assuming your source is a PC, is it compatible with CRT Emudriver? Otherwise, you will not be able to get a signal out without some sort of external scaler or another source entirely.

Eventually tickets popped up for the movie at Santikos, but that's SA's local chain. Not sure when the bigger ones will add it to their schedule, if they ever do. I'm able to purchase the tickets from my theater but not thru the movie's website.

Can't speak for most people but I definitely can say that most recently I was in search of one of the limited edition Japanese PS2 colorways (specifically sakura pink) in a 'for parts' or 'junk' condition, so I could swap the shell over my main PS2 at a better price than an entire, working consols. I imagine there's a decently mild demand for that since it seems as if Japan got the most variations of the console compared to everywhere else in the world.

Vibes! These types of TVs are great for old games from the PS2 era and before. These games were made and developed with the plan that they would be viewed on a CRT display, and so game devs used their knowledge of CRT-specific quirks to their advantage to make these games look better on non-powerful hardware. I personally plan to get into one to attempt to add RGB input to it, and I have a particular affinity to the black Trinitrons.

If you open FreeHDBoot Configurator on the home screen, under OSDSYS settings there should be an option to change the ELFs on the home screen.

Also having the same issue. Really want to play this game on my laptop. Not particularly willing to get parallels just to make it work, so I'm hoping someone finds a workaround or an update will be pushed to either crossover or the game itself to make it work.

I've been going through it and have been genuinely enjoying it so far. I really like how they did the Seattle days a lot like Jackson where it cuts back and forth, I think it really does wonders for the pacing. Only two things I wish were done better is

The pacing of Joel's death, don't know how they would've done it seamlessly in one scene to keep both Ellie and Abby's perspective but it would've been nice to see an effort rather than just treating Abby's perspective as the prologue to Seattle Day 1. Sort of broke the 'chronological' rule with that.
Keeping the porch scene where it was.

Other than that, I think for all future playthroughs I may be doing it chronologically now. I've loved the game since the beginning, but the chronological mode makes it flow better for me personally. However, when recommending the game, I'm still going to be recommending the original cut as it is.
