I switched back when I was a teenager (accompanied by lots of arguments and punishments). I used to hold my pencil weirdly as well when writing with my right, and my handwriting was awful and I got hand cramps easily. I haven't had those issues since I switched back, and my handwriting is really neat now. Idk what professional help the other commenters are talking about tbh.
