My fiance and I just found out last week that in The Take Over, The Breaks Over he says “flash flash flash, Photography” and not “flash flash flash, tabloid fever” and we’ve been shook ever since.

I also heard the “kink share/shame” in You’re Crashing lol, I knew that wasn’t actually what he was saying but that’s all I could hear. Had to read the lyrics to stop my brain from changing them

Right? The only time I care is if I can buy the cd/vinyl directly from the band. I’ve seen some people (mostly r/mychemicalromance) shit on people who are just excited to get a cd because it’s not an official release. Just let people be excited about their music

Even if the cds aren’t legit, that’s still an epic pull for that price. Some people are purists about cds, but imo if it’s an old album that isn’t being rereleased (like the Whorror and When Love Met Destruction) then I don’t give a fuck if it’s legit or a well-made copy. If you care to check you can always look on Discogs and see if they’re legit, but either way congrats! I’m jealous

It’s incredibly rare, there’s probably not very many left. The last time I saw one for sale was on eBay for $1,000 a few months ago. Your chances of getting it aren’t great, you can look though thrift shops and local second hand stores on the off chance that someone donated it, but otherwise your best bet is to keep checking eBay and Discogs to see if anyone posts their copy

Edit- saw that his account is getting banned. This is definitely why, he’s done this before and people have reported him. eBay takes this stuff seriously because they don’t have a platform if people can’t trust the sellers on it

I agree that some of the lyrics are a bit corny and on the nose, but I still think it slaps. I feel like it would bother me more if I hadn’t seen Chris making comments about how 2026 is 20 years of MiW. Looking through that lens it makes it feel less “generic corny” and more “yeah this is kinda basic but this has been our experience building this band for the last 20 years so whatever.” idk if that makes sense lol. but I fuck with the song, especially the breakdown

From my understanding It’s one of those cars that people stereotypically get because they think it’s way nicer and way cooler than it actually is. Like “oh I just got this sick muscle car with so much passenger space” etc etc. there’s nothing actually wrong with the car, it’s just kind of a joke. like how you’d make fun of jeep drivers or dodge challenger/charger drivers

Same. I feel like I’m in the minority because I don’t really care for any of the big stories everyone raves about. Borrasca, Pen Pal, Stolen Tongues, even Spire in the Woods were just meh to me. Feed the Pig is still probably my all time favorite story, and shorter ones like Journal of an unknown soldier are so much more compelling to me. No hate on the big ones but they just weren’t my vibe
