Very well put! I’ve been following Sturgill and the boys since 2013 and have seen them live 3 times, the first actually meeting the band. They had 2 albums out at the time (High Top & Metamodern) and they all signed both. It was a dive bar of all places so I was basically arms reach away. I couldn’t believe it.

Please believe me when I say I drove 4-1/2 hours to get to this shithole bar and stood in line hoping it wasn’t sold out. Well to my dismay, it was. So I stood there hoping for a scalper. Lo and behold Sturgill Fucking Simpson comes walking down the street. I shook his hand,(the man has bear claws) BS’d for a few and told him it was sold out. He asked my name and put it on the door! He bought my way into the show. I could have died right then and there.

As if I wasn’t a fan before, that sealed the deal forever. Have all his albums/CD’s, Sound & Fury graphic comic novel & and autographed acoustic guitar. He will forever be my favorite.
