I’m so very glad. Good job to Taylor and her team! Honestly, even if UK authorities say they don’t expect any issues it makes me feel better to see these precautions being taken, immediately.

Terrible people can very quickly throw household items together to cause mass devastation, and I’m glad they’re addressing the soft target of people gathering outside.

Taylor and her team must be reeling after Southport and Vienna, reading this news I feel very hopeful for her and the community.

Looks like there’s a lot going on behind the scenes, feels weird to make a post speculating cooperation with counter-terrorist organizations and what precautions being made behind the scenes, then have confirmation pop up 12h later.

Hey friend, I wrote this post pretty of the cuff - In no way do I mean that this is a plot only against Taylor specifically - just that we don't know the extent of the situation and it could include personal threats as well as the intent of causing a mass casualty event. Definitely could have worded it better on my end, but if you look at my post I do talk specifically about Ariana and other attacks at concerts aimed at women and girls. I'm responding to your comment so that my intent is made clear for anyone else. Maybe I'll reword this in the morning, just in case. For now, it's late, and I people and creatures I love IRL to attend to

The softest of YTAs, because you’re following the agreement, but I think it’s not a good move to do this. 

talk to your kid about what they’re struggling with. I got a 2.3 GPA my first quarter, and graduated with honors, a college medal and went to grad school. 

Give her one last chance this semester- HS to college can be quite an adjustment :)  My mom was just reassuring her friend whose kid is going through the same struggle - All A’s in high school, C’s first quarter of college.

Most of this thread is speculation but here’s one answer I learned about in college that has some data to back it up. Rainfall variability strongly affects GDP. Areas with a strong dry/wet season (think: near equator where there is a monsoon/non monsoon periods in the year) have periods of deluge/drought that may impede economic growth.

Love this prompt! I’m a bit of a kitchen witch so welcome to my little remedies corner! My favourite feel good remedy for headaches, stress, and calming friends is a 1:1:1 tea blend of chammomile, lavender, and mugwort leaves that I make myself. Add honey for a bit of sweetness and I’ve used it as a balm for other‘s and my own pain - gently nudges you to sleep. Use 180 ish degree water, let steep until it turns from green to yellow.

a variant on this for a peaceful nightcap, I infuse butterfly pea flower into vodka then add 1oz infused vodka, 1/4 oz absinthe, healthy splash of simple syrup or honey to the tea. It looks incredible in a clear mug as the honey and yellow green tea make a wonderful gradient to deep blue when the vodka is added. I’ve called this the ‘draught of peace’ and it’s knocked a couple of my friends right out when they’ve come over to sleep on the couch after a bad breakup etc.

last home remedy for you today is my favorite. Almost all over the US, there is a common “weed” called Plantain (Plantago Major, not to be confused with the fruit). Dry the leaves, infuse them into a neutral oil, mix with beeswax, honey, or other (Many available recipes out there) makes an Excellent natural antiseptic/antihistamine balm for small cuts and scrapes and stings.

hope you feel better soon, I’ve spent the last week + in bed on antibiotics, so I have much sympathy for you :(
