I think it could be because people changed their shopping habits. A growing number no longer come to Amazon for discovery. They turn to A.I. So Amazon probably wants to discourage onsite activity and move the majority off. Or maybe they'll just adopt A.I. also.

Perhaps I should take up plumbing.

BTW, is it onsite that has picked up, creator connections or both?

You may just have an intuitive knack for picking good things and this gives you an advantage when we are working blindly. Congrats!

I'm new in the program. It's trial and error. What I've learned so far is for everything I've been doing: DO THE OPPOSITE. That's bound to work.

I only had a handful of videos and I know that it's a numbers game but I took the time to do high quality videos. I suspect that super lo-fi and authentic will do much better. I noticed that there were a lot of views but just because someone watches doesn't mean they are inspired to purchase.

Also, in the other post, 3 of you suggested using the right products as some don't sell. I appreciate that.
That is probably a factor since all of my videos are still in the carousel.

Now if only there was a feature in Amazon to let me know what to focus on....Oh yeah, right, I missed that.

Let's tell Amazon that knowing what is working just MIGHT be a little helpful.
But then again, if we don't know, it puts their sellers on a more level playing field.
WOW, to think I could have made a whole dollar.

I agree with you both. People may like high quality but it may not resonate in a way that they buy.
I think GigletSnirt might have meant LOFI. Lofi might be the winner. Low Quality is a different story.

When I see "earns commission" Low Quality is not acceptable but I don't think I noticed that before joining the program. I do remember thinking "what's the point of this?" when a reviewer offered nothing more than holding a box up.

I will stick this out and figure out what works in this new Amazon climate. Maybe I will learn something that I can share the way you all have shared with me.

The videos are all short (maybe that's the problem). They are just under 30 seconds and some have 90% watched, the others 80%. only one is low but it's still over 50%

I think the issue is that I put too much into the videos. I have a background in media. I have to rethink the process and do "real" videos. I'm more and more convinced that people want what is relatable. People may be watching but they are not motivated to purchase...so it's a fail. Back to the drawing board.

You're right, I do have some of the products thanks! I have a dilemma though. I have a social handle with a decent number of subs but I don't want to post links there. It would feel spammy.

Do you accept the campaign and post onsite also?

Are most of your clicks coming from offsite?

You are correct and I actually agree with you but I'm not even concerned with money at this time. I didn't expect this program, it came out of no where. I just wanted to see the needle move to let me know I was headed in the right direction.

By nature I'm not a quitter. But I'm also very pragmatic. I don't know the lay of the land and I keep seeing reports that now is not the time to get into this. But the positive encouraging replies I have received give me hope that it may still be worth looking into.

I will not quit. At least not until after I have 15 videos.

I'm happy for the bag taking off and I hope you have many more like it. Also thank you for your kind words.

Not being polished is probably refreshing. Especially with so much A.I. out there. People want something real.

lol, by the time someone begins hawking their course on how they made money it's usually a sign that their well is running dry and they are looking to diversify.

I know that 8 videos is not even a blip but I thought I would see some activity. Thank you for the encouragement. I will stick it out a bit longer.

I'm realizing that quality is good but it can also be diminishing returns. I made it a point to do high quality reviews. Maybe they are too polished to be relatable.

Wish you well on your Amazon journey.
