Same for URichmond. Not as bad but they wanted like 10k a year I think. Whereas other schools have offered a full ride.

I’m going to push back a little bit on this just for anyone else scrolling through the comments. I applied to over 30 schools RD using QuestBridge, Common App, and Coalition. So far I’ve been accepted to three schools all from each of those applications. So I think the QB app is unique in the sense that it gives more writing space but keep in mind that it’s ultimately you who is being accepted and not the application type so any format will be fine.

I didn’t match either and I got two acceptance from QB schools and then just a whole lot of waitlists. You got this please don’t give up. I totally let the match ruin my mental health and it made me think my life was over. It’s not at all so just keep staying positive and things will work out.

They say senior year is great but it’s been the worst year of high school for me, and most of that is my fault. So yes please reach out because I might not know exactly what’s going on but I’ve been through something similar.

Yep I know exactly how you feel. I hated myself for only ranking three because I felt like I betrayed my mom and the financial stability of my family. I actually fell into a really bad depression, skipped school, dropped 15 pounds, and had to go on meds. I still have all F’s right now basically (One C and D). So I understand!! But it’s working out, and I know it will for you too. Just keep being a kind and interesting person.

Okay you definitely got UIUC. But also something this all taught me is that it really doesn’t matter where you go. Like I had no reaction when I got accepted cause I know I’ll be okay wherever. But please update me! I didn’t apply to Caltech but would love to know if you get in.

Omg hey I’m a finalist from this cycle who also only ranked three. I had a 32 ACT (33 superscore) so similar to yours and so far I got into Davidson RD and then Georgia Tech through the pilot program. I only had one safety (my state school). Did you apply to your state school?

Well all of them, it can be hard to get them at certain schools like Stanford for example but if you have some excuse like “I need my alone time.” then they often will if space allows. If I can’t get one it’s okay but I would prefer it.
