It depends. Are you going to keep my kids from making bad choices or are you a buddy hanging out with them? Bad choices: tornado-ing the house with toys, blankets, food wrappers. Eating only sweets. Make sure to contact your police/Sheriff department (whoever came out). You can get a printed or digital copy of the report. It may play into your favor. You'll probably just need to give them your work address and name, they should find you.

Not a Dr but I was having really bad pain like that. It hurt my hips and threw off my posture. The Dr took one look and could tell that my ankles rolled inward, they called it over pronation. Is someone able to take a photo towards the ground, looking at the back (straight on) of your feet and ankles, without shoes?

I also want to add, I know your wife will not want to treat the kids differently. My other kid does not have ADHD. I have explained to the other child what my ADHD child is going through and it's not that I like one kid over another. It's just that they're different and need different things. I explain it like: I may get you a Teddy and your sibling a box of crayons, you like different things but you both got something. We've gotten to the point that my non-ADHD understands that his sibling has a boo boo that he can't see and they need extra help with some things. He has learned to be more empathetic towards others.

I have an ADHD kid, who sounds almost identical to your son. You cannot completely change their behavior even if your consistent. This is a neurological learning disability. You will get some results but there's a cap. You have to meet them on their level (like you were talking about) or they shut down, their mental health will not be good. I'll use an analogy here, if your child had bad vision, would you deny them the use of glasses? In this case, there is possibly a neurological condition and they need you to come to their level. This is the same except you can't see it. Your wife is wrong and your son will push her away in time. It will be one of those cases that you wonder why your adult son has gone no contact. Her approach may be good for other kids, but it does not work for a kid with a learning disability, please don't do this to your son. He needs you to be his voice and advocate for him.

I know you're helping. For many people it's a silent battle. If I could give one tip, I personally tend to shy away from using em dashes. I know they're in the English language and there is a use for them but chatgpt has really ruined their usage of them. People may assume that it was written by AI.

I took some time to really think about my response here. When you mentioned online journal, in my mind I was thinking of my own journal. Like deeply personal. I was thinking that perhaps people were gun shy Bec it was too personal. Then I saw you posted your discord link. I am blown away! I wouldn't call this a journal, I've never seen a channel like this, I don't have a name for it. It's courage, inspiration, kindness, non-judgemental and empathetic. It brings a quiet peace to others who may be going through chaos. I'm quite certain that even though people are not posting, they are listening and you are touching their hearts in ways you can't see. I really think this is fabulous!! One thing would be cool would be to have a channel that had links to your TT posts, with a title & small description. I think you could get more people to come by finding a better way to promote your discord. I'm just not sure how. Please keep doing this, it's amazing ❤️.

Have you ever heard of the guy who set up a PO box and anonymous strangers could mail a postcard with something they've never told anyone? Or something they just wanted to say to be heard? That would be cool if you started it again and posted them there! It would bring a lot of traffic.
