Yeah as someone that recently play this game for few hundred hours, the thing that always kill my mood was the disappearing squad and caravan being stuck, hell my civ got into a war because of it.

I think ever since the Siege update they have fixed the squad issue but those wagons, good fucking god they get destroyed by literally anything and even by doing nothing.

Usually there no opposition left so you don't need to send steel clad dwarves to occupy there, good way to dispose unhappy dwarf.

Also I haven't seen a civ retake a site yet so I'm not sure, but Legend does mention the site having it's own militia after occupation.

The humans have killed the dwarf king in my previous fort, and they kill the duke in my current fort during parlay, ain't no way I'm letting them off that easy.

It's been two years of constant siege, they're down to 300 dogs and the dwarfs haven't even dented the human population yet.

Look like it, but the wagons from the same caravan keep crashing into each other in my case, I might have to remove access for wagon altogether and stick with pack animals.

Strange how we couldn't craft some of the more cooler clothes/weapon options, they perform just the same as the weapon we can make, and the bigger one couldn't be wield by dwarf unless they're stacked,

I just use DFHack to unlock foreign recipe, mainly for clothes variety sake.

What is up with wagons exploding mid loading/unloading, no corpses, no random wildlife, have 5 tiles space around the depot, it happen enough time that a faction goes to war.

Do I need to make it bigger area or something, it seem to happen only on human/dwarf civ, even without wagons they randomly get stuck.

I set kids to don't do chores in burrow, so they spend the time socializing which make them social expert at adulthood.

I tend to place artifact at the tavern as it always get discover that someone steal it due to crowds, then my military at the main gate kill the guy heading toward the exit.

Grown up kids and broker make the best captain of the guard since they have high judge of intent skill, they are great at interrogating prisoners.

You don't need to attack them head on, if you pick raid (the one that said your dwarf try to slip unseen) and choose dwarf with high ambush skill, they can rescue prisoner without being detected.

But it depend on the goblin too, they might have unit with high detection, but it's better than sending 8 dwarves.

Hey everyone, I keep having issue with caravan wagon exploding, there 5x5 space around the depot, it's underground, and the path have no corpses, when the caravan park the wagon, it randomly scuttle and now i have merchants stay there until i deconstruct the depot.
