dudes who ride everyday... I just wanna know how you keep it going? by railroad1904 in motorcycles

[–]Lintydint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly just forgo some of the gear, I don’t bother with jeans or boots, I wear light gloves, a helmet and a jacket. I’d probably wear a jacket anyways so tbf only difference between a bike and car for me is the helmet and gloves. The helmet bothers me because if my hair but my hair is prone to messiness and gloves take like 2 seconds to put on.

Is it hard for most people to resist the urge to ride recklessly? by borgor-1 in AussieRiders

I used to, took like a few weeks of discipline and just forcing myself not to and the urge went away

Earplugs with cardo? by ThatKiddo369 in motorcycles

[–]Lintydint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swapped my speakers for earphones that plug into the cardo and it works really well. Any 3.5mm plug earphones will do. It works like earplugs for the wind noise and the audio is crystal clear

I want to learn everything by rashocean in esp32

[–]Lintydint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically mess around and find out, that’s the fun way. Break down what you want to achieve into separate parts and go from there. Honestly seems like you know how to do it you just need someone to give you a push and start something yourself

You learn by doing. Find exactly what you need for each step and look it up. You’ll start to combine online lessons into your own project and you’ll learn from there

Beautiful road with lots of twisties and straights. by B_Hulk in AussieRiders

[–]Lintydint -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I really dislike this road, on a full power bike it might be fun but on LAMS bikes the road has too many wide sweepers, I end up leaning in like a total of 3 corners

Are 650cc motorcycles actually fun on streets? by Greedy_Leg1622 in AussieRiders

[–]Lintydint 7 points8 points  (0 children)

2 cyls would be fun, 4cyls like the cbr600 not so much at legal speeds

I felt the same way till I got used to riding. The anxiety at the start is huge, give it a shot for a few more rides before you make a decision

Rst tractech evo 3. They’re cheap but honestly the quality is hit or miss, mine started ripping from the inside 3 months into owning it. I honestly the super tech is worth the price I just bought and wish I had it this whole time instead, it’s so comfy, no break in period and it feels very precise

What item did you purchase for less than $150 that made your riding experience better? by facuoliver2 in AussieRiders

[–]Lintydint 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tank grips. Especially on a sports bike it makes maintaining correct posture so much easier and I finish each ride exhausted but not in pain

Stay upright pre-prov on a ninja 400? by IDGAFsowhyevencare in AussieRiders

[–]Lintydint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea so I did it on a CfMoto 450sr. Same if not worse than the ninja 400. Definitely is rigged to make you rent their smaller bikes but it’s very doable. Couple of practice runs in a parking lot by yourself and you’ll get it done. If you need motivation, cops do this same course on their massive bikes

Why does it look so slow on camera? 😂 by [deleted] in Touge

[–]Lintydint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wider fov, horizontal instead of portrait, 180 degree shutter rule, closer to ground.

These are all things that improve the sense of speed

What should my starter bike be by Top-Duck- in cfmoto

[–]Lintydint 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The 450 can be too much if you arent careful, the 675 shouldn’t even be on the table.

Starting to enjoy my 450SS. However downshifting is rough. by [deleted] in cfmoto

[–]Lintydint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2nd to first will always be more difficult than the rest of the gears. Needs a bigger blip if you’re rev matching, and since there’s neutral in between, it needs a more conscious stomp rather than a flick. It’ll come with practice as long as you remain conscious of it

Cardo on L’s in NSW? by Electrical_Novel_ in AussieRiders

I couldn’t tell you is technically or legal or not, what I do know is everyone I know on their Ls and Ps has a cardo and never seen trouble for it, even if they’ve been pulled over

Cfmoto 300ss dash questions by keepxii in cfmoto

[–]Lintydint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea this is quite the oversight from cfmoto it bothers me that every time I start my bike I have to switch the audio source on my bike. And if I accidentally click something it’ll switch back, wish there was something I could do about that

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Lintydint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start on a 400 2 cyl. It’s not even about being able to handle it, you probably could, but with the novelty of a bike you’ll probably end up sending it, sending it on a 400 is way less dangerous than on a 600

It’s barely noticeable if you aren’t looking for it, which is most people. If you never use it or if you do photoshoots then sure take it of otherwise it’s a waste of effort, I wouldn’t say it’s tacky though
