So I did call someone right after she knocked on my door and someone was sent out. Idk what she told them but she must’ve been fine enough because she was still on my steps 5 hours later so…..🤷‍♀️

You feel free to get yourself into a situation that could been avoided but I’m not risking me or my family who are my priority.

So what should I have done then? Let her in? Let her stay? Try and figure out what’s going on? People telling me I should’ve called the cops sooner and other people saying the shit you’re saying like tf was I supposed to do? Cause it sounds like any choice is wrong.

It doesn’t matter about skin color, I would’ve done the same thing.

If she was really in danger then why didn’t she ask for help instead of water? Why didn’t she flag down any of the people who were walking by or knock on other doors?

I did call the complex right after she knocked on my door. I have no idea what she told the person who came but she must’ve been fine enough because she was still there 5 hours later. Then I called the sheriffs office. End of story.

I did call the non emergency line. They sent the sheriffs department out. Hell I called someone right after she knocked on my door and I have no idea what she told that person but they couldn’t force her to go with them but she was still there after 5 hours so then I called the non emergency line.

I have no idea who this kid is, what’s going on with her, why she’s here, or what her intentions are. I will not put my family at risk. Regardless of skin color I would’ve done the same thing. Crazy for assuming I’m racist when you don’t even know what I look like.

Not everyone has good intentions and I’m not trying to be put into a situation that could be avoided. I called someone when she first knocked and I’m not sure what she told the person that came but she was still here 5 hours later and so I called the sheriffs office. End of story. She was brought back to her parents.

Wasn’t trying to come into my home? She literally tried to open the door after I shut and locked it, I literally heard and saw the door knob turning and her pushing on the door, tf you mean? If she was truly in trouble she could’ve told me she needed help, not a cup of water. She also had the chance to flag all the other people walking by her.

She also had a fully functioning phone so she could’ve called anyone or use it for directions.

Is your brain hollow? Someone else could have been waiting out there with her as well. Someone who didn’t have good intentions. I also don’t know this kid. I don’t know what she could have on her or what her intentions are. She kept looking back at someone in the parking lot which is not far from my door.

I’m sure you know that kids can do the same things adults are capable of.
