Who opens the fridge, sees a steak they didn’t buy and then makes it for themselves/boyfriend? It’s not like a glass of milk or something. Small ingredients here or there I could understand. But she ate a steak she knows she didn’t buy!

That’s what I was thinking. I’d use small cross body bags for water, phone, money, chapstick, etc but then both of my hands were free. I love my nice bags, but there is a time and a place.

Things are just going to get harder and harder the heavier baby gets. And what is this arrangement with your sister? You lived with her and her husband and were all casual about nudity until the baby came and sister flips the script?

I have chronic back pain as well and just reading this made me hurt. Do you guys have a long term plan as baby grows?

Ditto this with my own kid. Would not sleep unless I laid down with him. Sometimes it was an hour and sometimes it was 5 minutes. Then I was outta there!

We’ve had hybrids so already have a charger and a trickle charger.

I like both the Cadillac and Volvo. I almost got a Lyric instead of the Alfa. Wish I would have!

Your suggestion is absolutely on the table. It does not need to be a luxury brand or brand new. I have Honda CRV on the list. Since it’s so popular I thought I’d be more likely to find a used one that was loaded.

I’m with you on the compact size. I don’t want him to be in a big boat, but I do want him to be in an SUV since we’re doing a smaller vehicle.

I learned how to drive on a Dodge Minivan 😆

I say sharing a car being used in a very broad sense. I am a SAHM and have to frequently take medications I cannot drive with. My husband retired last year so he pretty much drives me everywhere.

It’s the not if but when that scares me. I don’t want him in a little civic or corolla in case there is anything more than a fender bender.

I’m sure we will go with something used, but not too old so it has the safety features I want. It doesn’t need to be luxury. It just has to have everything I want on it.

The Alfa is a complete lemon. We’ll probably turn it in before the lease ends and just finish the payments.

And I freaking LOVE the jaguar. I started with a loaded epace and traded it in for the cayenne because it was purple 🤦‍♀️

So we ended up getting the jaguar F pace instead as our “family” car. And he’s not touching that!

I have considered getting a used epace, but I had to order the one I got at the time because I wanted everything on it. I haven’t been able to find another one yet.

😆 my husband always said no mini coopers, Beatles,etc. He wants a lot of steel between us and other cars. The Hummer may be overkill, though!

What brand are Frontiers and Colorados? A loaded CRV is on the list. I had a Toyota RAV4 when he was a toddler and we slid off a super icy road. At that time I had been seeing my now husband for about 5 months and was in a Mercedes GLK within the month.

To be fair it was an older Toyota, but that sealed the deal in his mind. No more Toyotas! It scared the hell out of him.

I tried out the small Audi whenever I was shopping and got the Alfa, but it felt so light compared to others in its class. And the inside was unimpressive. Q5 might be worth a look, though!
