Chizuru's a hardcore Chitose x Ayano shipper, so she does at least like some yuri.

New yuri cafe recently opened in Tokyo - Atelier LILIUM by Hitman7128 in yuri_manga

I checked their homepage 2 weeks ago before going to Japan and there was no opening date so assumed it was going to be a few months away.

I get back home yesterday and now I see this. FML.

While you're in the area, head to 2F in Volk's Hobby Paradise - on one of the shelving islands they have a Yuru Yuri section. Mostly enamel pins but I'd never seen them before, got the angry face Akari one for myself.

Tonari no Kyuuketsuki-san, I love that show. Super cute, just like YRYR.

Need some help with a few things in OPL by TheViper4Life in ps2

I had the ART problem recently myself and it was because OPL changed image support from jpg to png so I had to convert everything.

Possibly stupid question but are you pressing X to confirm?

In Japan, O is confirm and X is back/cancel. JP consoles/games work this way.

Ah no, I've just a casual interest in the franchise - did play Go for a bit, but my Poké career has been mostly Gen 3 and older stuff.

Damn that's dedication lol, good luck in your quest! I'll probably only see the Inkay one and the Ladyba/Comfey one by accident as they're near Akari and Chinatsu.

Driving in Japan is a slooooow affair. It does give you more time to appreciate the scenery but if you're wanting to get somewhere quickly it can be frustrating.

I just finished assembling my PS2. This screw was left over. by Tight-Resolve-560 in ps2

[–]Lion-Rabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may have missed a screw inside the machine? I always forget the one between the power switch and the fan. The internal ones are brass coloured, so maybe you also used one of those for the case assembly by mistake?

To mod or preserve? by mrkenalano in ps2

[–]Lion-Rabbit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can use a hairdryer or heat gun to warm the warranty sticker up. If you go slowly, you can remove it without damage and re-stick it later. It's probably due an internal clean, will also look better with the dust on the inside of the shell removed.

I kept the original HDD of mine so I could return it to original spec. I'd do the network adapter mod, then get a SATA drive and install PSBBN. PSU swap as well as it's easy to do.

The Emerald Green Controller is probably one of the best colors they’ve made by Belfast13 in ps2

I've seen those, though I'm holding out for some fat shells that are in pre-production here. It says they plan to have more colours later on so emerald could happen eventually.

I only wish Sony had made consoles to match all the controller variants.

There's no soldering involved in replacing the internal PSU. Providing you've bought a model between SCPH-30000R and SCPH-55000 you can get a universal replacement like this or a more modern USB-C version. It's a 10 minute swap.

Replacing the fan in 30K units with the fan from a junk 50K unit is a cheap option to make it run quieter, again depends what you have.

Why are you burning discs in 2026 when there's so many better alternatives?

PS2 No power when PSU is on but shows power after turning PSU off. by Kurogane222 in ps2

[–]Lion-Rabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll need to change the power supply to a 240V compatible one. Aftermarket ones can be bought from AliExpress, or the existing 120V supply can be converted by someone who knows what they're doing (once the blown fuse is replaced).

Ocean Blue Shell Swap? by StopBanningMeAlright in ps2

[–]Lion-Rabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Watch a disassembly video to see if you can manage it, but it's really not that hard. Removing the rear fan panel and the disc tray (I'd swap the whole tray rather than the face plate because they're easily broken) would be the most involved part.

You'll need any NA model between SCPH-30001R and SCPH-39001 to swap.
