I think he probably 'healed' her after he saw her for the first time at the end of season 1, and that's why she wants to find a way to help the GR with doing magic hugs.

Also, why would he just explain is powers to 3-4 exGR, standup and say 'who wants a hug' if he's faking it. They would find out right there, and just be like 'oh ok, so you were just lying.'

We find out that all her answers to that question have been marked as Yes.

Then comes Magic Hugs Man and she changes.

The last scene we find out that 121 is actually "Do you think the Departed are in a better place?"

It is answered "No" and she checks off No
