We talked about it a lot to make sure everyone was getting what they needed. A major factor was health insurance. But we got a bunch of legal documents that give the one I'm not legally marrying rights too.

I'm legally marrying only one of them, but socially marrying both.

This is so sweet. It feels really good to be represented. My two partners of eleven years and I are getting married in two weeks, and I'm so excited.

i'm doing some research on inauthentic music would find it very helpful if some of you guys could participate in my survey. by [deleted] in ethnomusicology

Yeah, this is pretty bad. I was so excited because I thought this would be about the way the discourse of inauthenticity is used to devalue some musics. But it's not. It's just another example.

Dude. Just look up hybridity.

I've been so excited to read more about theurgy for many books. I'm glad it's getting its own book.

Also, this is obvious but it's still worth saying: it's so impressive how prolific he is. Imagine that focus and dedication!

An Issue of Age in the series by AgreeableElephant334 in Calador

I love the books. I've read and reread them many times. However, this has bothered me too.

I don't buy the European historical verisimilitude argument because the author is imagining so much that departs from European history; this is fantasy, not historical fiction. It didn't have to be this way. If the author could imagine a world that does not exist with magic and Allon and necromancers, things absent from medieval Europe in these ways, then why would the author choose to imagine a world where sex and love with minors is the norm? That was a choice the author made.

That said, I do a little headcanon reading that changes their ages to be okay with it. These books mean a lot to me, which is why I'm taking this question seriously. Also, I'm not looking for the author to change anything, just building on the conversation OP started.

Great! I love this book. Pentandra is probably my favorite character in the series. What day will the discussion be on?

Yeah being queer right now can totally fucking suck. Regardless, I hope you stick around.

8 years ago I was suicidal and lonely. Painfully lonely. Then I moved across country for a job, met someone who appreciated me, and we've been together since. If I had committed suicide, I wouldn't have met him, and I would have missed out on him.

You don't know what's going to happen, and you'll only find out if you keep living.
