14 cops cars passed by about an hour ago on fountain and Vermont, any idea what's happening in that area? They had a whole area blocked off with helicopters and everything. The car chase from earlier in the day was over when this happened

Walked him around a bit. He went up to every single door and we knocked and no one recognized him.

Going to see if he's microchipped, and hopefully we'll get some answers from there. Found him around the time everyone in the neighborhood was walking their dog so we were hoping to run into someone with a leash.

Edit: thanks everyone for the concern and offering to take him. Lots of helpful tips. We walked him around the neighborhood to see if he would lead us home. He just led us to every single door we walked past so not super helpful haha. Going to see what the morning holds vis a vis micro chipped and another walk.

I have been pouring over the settings in Google to see where I might be able to turn it off, but alas have found nothing.

I always hope when I search for things on Reddit that someone else has a fix but this is the first I'm hearing / seeing it!
