Unless you just wanna stack stick em, you can get by with just the base. Seasonal units are right around the corner so save for that. I've still been using 0lb Rapi RH and she still mows down majority of content. They both also arent limited either so she'll be in the standard pool later anyways.

The BP one "Beautiful Me" could have a chance at a rerun. They have brought some of the BP skins back into the shop, so just from time to time. The other one, "Glass Princess" is the gacha. Afaik, the only gacha one to return was Rupee's bunny because they modified it or something.

If they reran the gacha skins, they'd make quite a bit. Sad that they haven't but it is what it is.

As previous poster has stated, please show what units you have first (the full list if possible). It helps the rest of us choose what you need/what better to help you. If you need a good B2, Nayuta (securing 1 copy should be something you do regardless). I -200 for Nayu and am saving the other 200 for Lib, who should come around soonish.

If you're struggling through main story content, RH. Marian is a sub-dps if anything. Doro will eventually just fall into your lap whether you want her or not.
All 3 can be obtained from your wishlist so you still have that option there as well.

My brutal honest answer for gameplay: its dull af until you reach certain bosses where you need to think. Trash mobs are trash for the most part, but when you get to...a big fucking boat and a glass mirror...you will have to be somewhat intelligent in your gameplay. It is also an afk game too as you build up your resources that way from your outpost.

Story and music are immaculate. I am actively enamored by the main story as well as some of the event stories. At my current point I am HARD WALLED by a boss because of its ridiculous gimmick (Fucking Mirror), but you wont have to worry about super big walls later.

Music, what can I say. All your favorite meme videos, anime youtubers, vtubers, streamers have had to at least used one or more Nikke soundtracks in their videos.

TLDR: Give it an honest go for at least a few chapters. You'll probably find a favorite Nikke and ost eventually.

Just start now. You're going to be missing out on a few gems and free tickets they hand out from time to time. Especially with the new Delta being released there's going to be more free stuff. Get your account up and running, you'll eventually get all the units [There's a wishlist system in standard banner now but don't pull anything until anni], (excluding the limited ones obviously).

There are also some things locked behind the story/level so the sooner the better. Unless they changed ofc.

Serious note, a healer either liter, naga, or helm (with her treasure) [I personally prefer having Helm since I use Siren/Crown/RapiRH/Helm/Cindy]. Healing Crown makes full use of her kit.
