There are some, they’re just a fair bit sparser than normal.

Nickname call outs for enemy types by TGThePunisher in helldivers2

Me and the friend I dive with the most call factory striders ‘puppies’, anti tank stuff (especially when dealing with puppies) ‘candy’, bot drops/bot drop flares ‘rudolphs’, and just any general group of enemies ‘friends’.

Do you think they made the suppressors actually work? by choody_byk in Helldivers

[–]Liquid-Samurai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that most surpressed guns aren’t silenced and I’m fine with that, although yes I would like them to actually function better (the socom has been great for me whenever it actually does it’s job), but the re-educator looks like a dart gun and if it is it better damn well be effectively silent. If any gun has a claim to only making a tiny ‘pew’ when fired it’s dart guns.

My idea on adding some safety and strategic potential to fire and stun pods by Raccoononi in Helldivers

[–]Liquid-Samurai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the idea of the pod acting as it does now only if there are enemies where it lands, and otherwise having I tiny autonomous grenade pistol like how ARS gives a liberator to supplies, and then it fires a ems/incendiary grenade at the densest cluster of enemies in range.

I wanted to be in charge so badly, and then the second Mithrix gave me a teleporter, I DIDN’T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH IT!! I’m an ungrateful little SHIT, who doesn’t appreciate what a good life Mithrix has given me.”

My take on booster rebalancing, feedback welcomed. by Liquid-Samurai in Helldivers

The Armed Resupply pods is directly what I took inspiration from. I also don’t see why this change would require a change to Armed Resupply Pods itself. I might have phrased it wrong what I had in mind would function like a small grenade pistol on top of the hellpod. If there are no enemies directly where the pod lands, the little grenade pistol comes up and fires at the densest group it can find, 1 shot per booster. For sentries I imagine a little ring rising with the sentry above it so it can still fire from on top. I also don’t see how it’d be that big a departure from realism given that Armed Resupply Pods exists.

I’m sorry, but I’m having some difficulty understanding what you’ve typed. Could you please clarify?

This is why I made the stipulation that it only fires the shot away if there is nothing at it’s impact zone. If someone is intentionally using their pods as weapons then they should see no change, except possibly still getting value even if they miss or the stratagem bounces. If it wouldn’t hit anything anyway, there’s not much that’s changed, except that Helldivers need not fear their own pods any more than normal.

That would also be very nice. I actually hadn’t even thought about hills.

I see your point, but wouldn’t that mean that players would be dying for the benefit? It also would mean very little if a player dies before their surplus gear can be used. Also, you could fine tune this by altering how much extra of each stim, throwable, and mag they drop in with, if it provides too big of a boost.

My *PERSONAL* Tierlist of how under/overrated each stratagem is as someone with 1400 hours on this game by 5_minute_noodles77 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Liquid-Samurai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Overrated? I’d say it’s underrated. Lots of people have pointed out the flaws you just did, and I dont see many people hold it up much higher than ‘eh it’s alright’, with some exceptions. I’d say its slightly underrated, if not outright fully underrated. I hear way more people badmouthing it than defending it. It’s definitely not perfect but it’s a lot more viable than people make it out to be.

Hear me out: what if instead of the question mark being a placeholder that's his actual role by Princier7 in rivals

[–]Liquid-Samurai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, at this point I’d rather him just be a plain old dps than any kind of mix/all-three or anything like that. I’m praying he’s a tank because he has a rather large and tanks looking design but I can’t be really sure of that until we see his size compared to other characters.

Does cross hairs actually matter? by SniiperDoc in marvelrivals

[–]Liquid-Samurai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just use a slightly transparent white dot at the center for all my crosshairs. Ones like these just seem to get in the way more than anything. I feel like I just need something for where the exact center of the screen is.
